Round 4: The Village of Shadows

[Winters Rage]

CHRIS
As Chris drew nearer to the voices, he spotted a group of four people talking. They hadn't seen him yet.

"I should get closer so I can hear them, but not to close that they can see me." Chris said, then he turned on his Chameleon Skin ability and took off his shirt and hid it in a tree so he would blend in better.

[Josiah]

CHRIS
((I assume you're heading closer.))
Chris crept closer to the people. There appeared to be three boys and a girl, all around his own age, though it was a bit hard to tell with the sillouettes. The boys weren't doing much at the moment and the girl was looking intently at the ground.

((Uhh... yea :P))
"This is probably gonna be the dumbest thing I've ever done, but..." Chris though, then searched the ground for a rock the size of ehh... two large grapes and then throws it over the group of people to land on the exact opposite side of the area of them than him. ((Is that understandable?))

((I understand. Just need to figure out how well it will work. Does Chris play any sports involving a lot of throwing (like baseball) or darts or something?))

((No baseball, but he skipped rocks alot back at home, atleast an hour a day, every day. He had a lake behind his house (and somehow never ran out of rocks :P) So he's pretty good with aim and power and stuff like that :3 and yes, he plays darts pretty often inside, when it rains.))

Chris finds a suitable rock and throws it past the group of people. It hits a tree with a solid thwack...


Team 2 (Takeru, Todd, Capperoff, Kako)
A loud sound suddenly cuts through the air!

((How long has it been since I posted here!?))

Underground tour...hey, that sounds like it might be a good place to hide a portal. Maybe I can go underground the fountain area. It did say I was close. Maybe I just need to go underground.

She picked up the pamphlet and started reading, also checking if there was any mention of the area under the fountain.

[Metalheadz]

Takeru looks around, then looks back at the team. "Did any of you hear that?"

I jump a bit then look around. "Yeah,where did it come from?"

[Josiah]

SIRA & KAIDA
The pamphlet contained a brief overview of the extensive tunnel system running beneath the village, mentioning that it had once been used not only to transport water and waste, but also as a hiding place and secret escape route for numerous famous figures in the village's history. The fountain wasn't mentioned specifically, but the write-up was pretty short so that didn't neccessarily mean much. There was also a map to the meeting place and a list of tour start times. It seemed that particular day that there were tours starting every hour.

Hm. Looks promising. Guess I'll give that a shot. Sira looked at her watch to see what time it was.

[Josiah]

SIRA & KAIDA
Sira had about fifteen minutes until the start of the next tour. If she hurried, she thought she could make it to the meeting place in time.

[*^_^*kako]

"I wonder if someone in trouble! We have to help!" Runs toward the noise.

[Siranae]

Alright, fifteen minutes. We can still make it to the tour if we hurry. Sira folded the brochure and put it in her pocket. As a last thought, she also grabbed the brochures for the historic open house, the village and wall-walking tours, and the map marked with notable sights. Once they had all been secured in various pockets. She and her group left the store, then began to run to the meeting place.

Team 2 (Takeru, Todd, Capperoff, Kako)
The sound had come from nearby but Kako didn't see anyone (other than her teammates) in the area.


SIRA & KAIDA
Thanks to the map she picked up, Sira had no problem leading the way to the meeting place. She and Kaida arrived about five minutes early to find a small group of aliens milling about, presumably waiting for the tour to start.
