Re: 5th Genereation confirmed?
I couldn't agree with Silver any... more?! Wait what? I agree with Silver?
Wow, that's a new one... but yea, Misty was my favorite, I was confused when May came in (I was only like 5, ok?!) Then I started to like her less and less, then came along Dawn... Sorry Ash, remember, you're like, 20, she's 10. Seriously. Pokemon and Co., people don't stay young forever >>'
Oh, I've never even seen the orange island season, so I wouldn't know >>

I still hold onto a tiny shred of hope that they'll someday adapt the Pokémon Adventures manga into a anime... Probably not going to happen, but at least they finally started releasing more of the graphic novels in English (they originally stopped after volume seven years ago).

Re: 5th Genereation confirmed?
By my calculations Ash should be 15 at least, and maybe he's just short, and has that amnisia thing where he forgets almost everything he's learned in the previouse seasons. How many times now has Pikachu gotten sick from a build up of electricity, and how many of those times did ash run around looking for help because he didn't 'know' what was wrong with it.
And I'll miss brock, I'll miss him and his antics. And Crogunk. Yeah Crogunk = Awesome. I suppose they had to bring in someone who could control brock since misty left.
You know I never really liked may either, I didn't hate her, but I didn't like her either...
Maybe I should see if theres anywhere I can by the Pokemon Adventures Manga...

Re: 5th Genereation confirmed?
Except take a look at the screen shot Colly posted earlier... it stated very clearly in the first episode of Best Wishes that he's ten. It also stated very clearly at the end of season one that a year had passed since Ash left Pallet Town. Um...
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Well, the anime never was much for logic or consistency...

Re: 5th Genereation confirmed?
Okay, I did a little research with the new addition to the anime, and mijimaru seems to have a crush on Ash...which means it's the new Chikorita.
This is my RP Forum, Tales of Symphonia Adventures, or ToSA for short. Please take a look?

Re: 5th Genereation confirmed?
Pokabu has now also taken a liking to Ash, but not as much as Mijumaru. But Pokabu DID totally reject Iris.

Re: 5th Genereation confirmed?
I think hopefully, Nintendo will allow Ash to to evolve his Pokemon to the best. Mijimaru's fully evolved form looks the coolest out of the three, IMO, and it would stink to see Ash not train it hard enough. I wonder if Red and the Pokemon manga characters will ever make an appearance.

Um, if you mean the Pokémon Adventures manga, a lot of them are in the anime, sorta. Ash is Red, Gary is Blue, May is Sapphire, etc. While the Pokémon Adventures versions of the characters are much cooler, there's no reason to have two versions of the same character in the anime.
Re: 5th Genereation confirmed?
In essence, Paul is Silver too.
It's really too bad Pokemon Adventures will never get an anime adaptation.

Re: 5th Genereation confirmed?
I dislike how the anime is overall. It's repetitiveness and whatnot. I never read the Pokemon Adventures manga, but from what I've heard it could make a good anime... (but a lot of manga adaptions for others have gone terribly wrong, so you never know.)

Re: 5th Genereation confirmed?
Well, I've finally decided not to buy the 5th generation Pokemon games. But I'm yet to hear the reviews from every one of you here. I'll check back in 2011, on this thread.

Re: 5th Genereation confirmed?
As always, since R/S, I'm getting the game the day it comes out :D
Ever since ruby/sapphire came out, I've gone to walmart and gotten my $70+ deposit on the new pokemon games.
Yes, I pay up to $70 to pre-order both, but I say it's worth it :P
I heard that the 1st gym depends on the starter you choose. What are the differences in the choice?
Oh, and what's up with your room at the beginning? Do your 'friends' apologize for DESTROYING your bedroom? Does you mom ever notice? Do they finally explain the extreme lack of housing and then beds within?!
These questions, and many more, will probably never be answered outside of PV...

Oh, I still definitely recommend this one. It's slowly becoming my favorite in the series.

Trash bedroom, leave it as if nothing happened, never return again. That's how a trainer truly handles it.Winters Rage wrote:Oh, and what's up with your room at the beginning?
