Aliens, hmmm... The Bible doesn't say anything about aliens, actually. But to be very serious, many say that if aliens do exist, the Bible and every other religion in existence would be proven wrong. Science would be the truth, there, which I really don't want to believe to begin with. I don't believe in Evolution nor life outside Earth, but eventually if aliens do come to Earth the best I can say is we can always try to show them the light of God. ^^

Yes, but yet the idea had been made up by many Christians, particularly the Catholic Church. Some believe in it, though I don't find it to be 100% truthful.Saber Knight wrote:Random interjection: Purgatory was made up. It is not in the Bible.
(P.S. Don't use this thread for religious facts. PM me next time in case you have another interjection.)

Also:Metalheadz wrote:That, Kako, is extremely hard to say. I would say those who were saved and have been good all their life, without a doubt their sould will rest in God's kingdom. As for those who weren't saved, baptized, or do not believe in God, they have had to be very good all their life and have done many good things onto others for the Lord to welcome him or her into heaven. However, for those who commit horrible sins, such as killing a person, will not be allowed into heaven unless they confess all their sins in life, especially the mortal sin. Everyone is born with original sin, and it's every Christian's duty to rid of that original sin before death, otherwise saying being saved.
If you do not have the faith in God, I would say the best you may do in your life is continue to be a good person and show love to others. Those who aren't embraced by the hands of God are yet to find their paths.
I deeply apologize if this isn't the answer you're not looking for and I don't mean to be hurtful towards other religions.
Matthew 7: 13 and 14 --Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Basically, it says most people go to hell. I take it you don't agree with that?
Also, I find it ridiculous that people that claim to be devout Christians can believe in Purgatory. Believe in it all you want... but if you strictly follow the Bible, then it's hypocryical to believe in something that was made up by the Catholic Church and used as a scam to make money.
May the Triforce be with you.

Let's try not to turn this thread into a big religious arguement, ok? While I kind of agree with Saber about Purgatory, I could point out quite a lot of things that many Christians (and Jews, for that matter) believe in which have no real Biblical basis (I've studied the Bible pretty extensively). I could argue with a few other things Metal has said too. But I'm not going to do that (at very least, not in this thread), since that would just lead to an arguement and, in the end, there's no way we can be entirely sure about most of those things in this life anyway. If some of you guys want to seriously debate various aspects of the Bible (with some strict guidlines in regards to intelligent debate instead of arguement) we can start a thread for it. But this thread isn't the place.

(Thanks Josiah.)
Saber, don't look at it that way. Everybody has a choice, and we all try avoiding going to hell. Just because Nab believes in purgatory doesn't mean he isn't Christian. I understand your beliefs as a Protestant, but that's no reason to attack the belief in purgatory. Besides, I don't even really believe in purgatory, I just understand the idea.
As for BFC. That I can't exactly answer. I do know the Lord once had 100 sheep, only 99 were present, but He had wanted to save that one missing sheep. I know He cares for all his sheep, and loves us all fairly. But here's the closest verse I can think of with infants and salvation. I'll update this post for more. Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up to salvation– if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good. 1 Peter 2:2-3 and "What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? 13And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. 14In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost. Matthew 18 12-14.
(Updating my first post in this thread. Everybody must read it for these past few questions were not asking for advice.)

From what I hear, a large intake of the ingredients of the Five Gum will cause harm to your bodies.

I think with wedding its a mixture of wanting the wife to be happy and not really caring about what it looks like and what happens, but thats really a generalization. It also depends alot on the guy. I asked Robert and he said that it's mainly about the girl, however I read an artical once about some men who didn't like the fact that everyone says how its the girls big day and she should choose everything about where and when, what happens, what colour napkins you have etc. So like I said it depends on the guy, but it also depends on the girl.
Example, Me and Robby, I was never one of those girls that planned out my wedding and ran around pretending to be a bride with an immaginary boyfriend alot. I didn't have this big overall picture. All I knew was I didn't want a white wedding dress. Thats pretty much what got use to the point we are now, which still isn't far.
Pretty much, Robby asked me if we were going to have a big white wedding, I said I was having a pink dress and that that in itself threw the white wedding out the window. So we were discussing it and I can't remember who (I think it was me) but someone suggested having a medieval themed wedding since my dress was gonna be medieval styled. The we were all 'where do you want to get married' 'I don't know, any ideas' 'nope'. And then my dad suggested my grandads, Robby likes it there, I like it there, so we went with that. So now we're having amedieval themed garden wedding at my grandads (he has a green thumb) on Tamborine Mt. Surrounded by a rainforest with a gorgeouse view of the gold coast and the ocean. Robbys wearing a black and red Marth outfit, I'm wearing a pink and blue dress. I have ideas for the meals at the reception and the cake, and Robby wants a pork on a spit, but i'm not a big fan of pork so we're having beef and pork on a spit. And thats about all we've decided on.
Anyways I hope that helps, and sorry Metal, just had to ^_^.
