desu: A verb literally meaning "it is so", it's a sentence ending often used if the sentence isn't ended with a different verb. Desu is the formal non-past tense.

taiyaki: a fish shapped pastry stuff with something (usually red bean paste)

takoyaki: friend balls of batter, vegatables, and octopus
