1. Do we even have dragons in this? Where'd the DNA come from?
2. For that matter, do we have adamantium? We may be in a superhero/supervillain setting, but adamantium is...pretty Marvel-specific.

1. Obviously it came from a deceased dragon, Mandi. =P If super people can exist in this world, it's not a far-cry to say that dragons once existed in this world.
2. As for adamantium, it's something that fits the setting of the RP and fills Slayer's needs. It's not just Marvel-specific anymore, either, it's become generic. See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adamantium#In_other_media
It appears in more non-Marvel things than it does Marvel things.

Alright then about the adamantium, but I'm still iffy about the dragons. Our super people are only cropping up because of the "freak nuklear accident 30 years ago." A dragon probably would probably have required a freak twist in evolution several millennia ago. They're...not quite the same thing. ._.

I'm sorry if I sound like I'm being overly picky about this, but...dragons seem a bit too far out there.

He didn't say anything about Metal's choice of powers for Plasmoid's arch nemesis, either, and Metal changed it anyway when BFC insisted. But if that's your reasoning, I'll shut up. Unless Josiah decides to impart to us a Final Admin Verdict or something on the matter.

It's just that it's his RP. He said something about not overpowering characters, but didn't say anything about dragons. That's what separates Metal's character issue from mine. Furthermore, Josiah looked at my character profile and the only thing he said was that I should make the arch enemy a Hero character yet to have an arch enemy.

You're one to talk about spammy, Mandi, posting that in the RP thread the next day, after the few messages were sent, and starting an argument in this thread about my character for no adequate reason.

Mandi, what Eclectric said is true: Josiah hasn't made any complaints. There was no reason to question Eclectric any further. I know you didn't intend to pick a fight, but after a couple of your OOC posts, even I would have taken it the wrong way if I didn't know you that well.

Eclectric, Mandi's not trying to start an argument. When RPing, she tends to be rather "nitpicky" about details. She has challenged my characters plenty of times before, so please don't think she's attacking only you. Also, Mandi's OOC post in the RP was at least accompanied by a character profile, while yours and Metalheadz's were just simply OOC posts. That makes a huge difference between what is considered "spammy" and not.

On another note...

If you're gonna do a free agent, Eclectric, give him a hero Arch Enemy as well.

I think what Josiah meant is that you could keep the villain archenemy, but because your character is somewhat of a "double agent", you needed two archenemies: one on the heroes' side, one on the villains'.

I apologize for butting in where I don't belong, but I really dislike reading arguments on a forum. :/

I pretty much agree with what Faustgy said. As he's right about the double agent needing an arch enemy on both sides.

Dragons certainly weren't something I had in mind when creating this RP but since I never said it had to be overly serious. Super hero comics usually don't make awhole lot of sense when you think about it.

Anyway, all current characters are approved. I'm going to start things off tonight (I'll have more time then) but people are still welcome to join and/or post new characters even after it starts.
