Don't you find it kind of irritating when you have to repeat yourself over and over? Well, I find it kind of irritating when people waste forum space to ask questions that they'd know the answer to if they had any reading comprehension ability at all, thank you.

Anyway, I've got two badges as well, currently exploring that friggin' huge city that was in all the early ads. "Look at our impressive 3-d!" and all that. Well, the 3-d is impressive and all, but... the poor sprites! The crazy camera effects are not doing anything for them...

Also, as much as it seems like this city... is as as big as a real city for once, it really isn't any different from the cities of previous games. See, most buildings have this one major design flaw... in that they have no doors. It really doesn't seem so big once you realize that... looks cool though.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

You know, I think I made myself clear that I can ask a simple question. Don't question my intelligence, please.

And I'd like to make it clear that posts like that can derail topics. At the end of your post, at least, please post something relating to the topic.

On that note, now that I'm in the city, I'm done with Pokemon for today. Huge place, a guy in a black suit jumped out at me in a dark alley... and gave me Flash...
Huh...?

 That is so wrong...but it's also so Japanese.

So Colly, speaking of the plot, how good is your Japanese? How much can you read and understand? Is there a lot of kanji or did they scale back on it to make the game easier for kids to read?

Pikachu, enough already. Making a post that just restated what had been said was rather pointless. But continuing to argue about it like this is far more pointless. Please just drop it.

My Japanese is really basic. Like, not even year 1 Japanese.
Also, this game give you the option for kanji or kana only.

To my knowledge, previous Pokemon games were always kana only with very, very minimal kanji, if any at all. This is the first one that even gives you the option of using kanji. Needless to say, I chose the kana option because it's a bit easier to understand, and I've been doing... ok. Locations, Pokemon names, and "Plasma" are always in katakana, so that's easy enough to figure out, and items all have sprites so it's easy to tell what they are no matter what. But when Gaycheez... I mean, Geechisu was making his big villain speech, it was hard to follow. And by that I mean the only word I understood was "Pokemon".

As far as I know, no original Gameboy or Gameboy Color games used a lot of kanji due to memory and screen resolution issues. Interesting to know that the later ones either used mostly kana or had a kana option though. That'd make them fairly good for Japanese practice.

The kids in my neighborhood are too old to play PKMN anymore, so the only way I'll be able to experience B&W is through Youtube videos. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

Choroneko was a pain to raise at the start, but the evolved form isn't too bad.

EDIT: Gen 5 related
