Okay so I've no problems with Black and white so far.

Awesome Legendary Dragon/Fire type, check

Awesome Female character, Check

First female prof, check

Super Adorable 'Cat Pokemon' for the game thats also a Dark type (none normal. Meowth = Normal, Skitty = Normal, Glameow = Normal, I was beginning to get over the 'normal') Check

Whole range of new Pokemon including a possessed sarcophagus and a deer that changes colour with the season. check.

And we can't forget the new "Team" that are out for money or power, but trying to free Pokemon from the enslavement of humans. While no doubt using Pokemon to help free others in the process who obviously have nothing better to do with their time then trying to beat 10-13 year old kids with the aforementioned Pokemon. (Maybe they haven't heard of Team Rocket, you reckon in the anime their going to have some things to say to Jessie and James?)

Questionable starters. Check. Okay so this is pretty much where I have problems. Grass Starter, Okay. Water starter, its okay but the white head doesn't seem right. And the fire starter. I was worried when I saw it was a pig, it was cut and all but I was worried for it's evolved forms. I was actually hoping it'd be a fire/dark type if it was a dual type. But no.
Its.

Another

Bloody

Fire

Fighting

Type!!!!!

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrruuuuuuuuugggggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You'd think that with 17 different types to choose from they'd be able to come up with something different, something new. But no. Its another fire fighting type. Yes the pig evolves and learns how to walk on two legs and uses its front legs/arms to fight with.

So now we know the world is ending because Kaida for the first time is ditching the fire start. Yes thats right Kaida is ditching he beloved fire starters and Has chosen to go with Tsutaja (Grass starter).

That is all. Kaida's going to sit in a corner and huggle a plushie of Choroneko while being depressed about her fire starter.

There there Kaida, it's okay if you get a different starter. At least this generation has more fire types than last time.
Though I question the Brocolli monkey...

Does anybody know the popularity or attention of this next generation? I knew D/P was very looked forward to by many Nintendo fans. I dunno how much appeal B/W will have.

Not an insult, just wondering. Seeing that H/G actually sold better than Platinum.

Not sure how it will sell, but B & W are the first pokemon game to recive a perfect score.

Oh I don't mind using different starters, I normally do, particualy since I end up buying both versions (or all three) of the games and I make a habit of using a different starterin each. But everytime the first time I play through it, I've Always had the fire starter the first time round.

Pikachu, could you please shorten your signature? It's getting way too long. Either remove some stuff or put more of it on the same line.

Anyway, it's kinda hard to judge how popular a game will be before it's released (you can look at internet traffic or preorders (though it's too early to be looking at preorders anyway but Japan)). But as far as I can tell Pokémon hasn't lost any popularity and the fact that B&W is looking to be the biggest evolution of the series by far, I think it's gotten the attention of a lot of people who hanve't played the last few games as well. I'm sure B&W will sell at least as well as HG/SS, probably better.

Done. I'd appreciate a PM, though...

With Arceus, I'd thought it'd stop. Now, there's gonna be another "all-powerful regional legendary"... Mewtwo, Lugia/Ho-oh, Deoxys, Arceus... You see it, right?

Maaan, I am so disappointed by the fire pig's evolved form. I thought it would be an enormous fiery warthog of death but no, it's another bloody Fire/Fighting type. *Sigh.* At least New Vegas still looks awesome...

On the plus side, the water otter's second form looks kinda cool.

It does, so does the Grass starter's. ^_^ I'm looking at the Grass starter atm, I'm wondering if it will stay a pure grass type. Same with the wate type to.

So everyone, BW is soon to come out, and like HGSS, Silver and I will be doing a quick play of it as soon as we can. Our play will be up until we receive the third gym badge. We will be posting our thoughts here and there as we play. In other words, if you don't want to be spoiled anything, avoid Silver and my posts in this topic.
