Heh, I'm the opposite, Silver. Pokémon games are the only onces where I actually buy a strategy guide from the start and follow it as I go through, which makes it easier to complete my pokédex with all little backtracking as possible. Though I certainly see the appeal of starting blind, since that's what I do with most other games.

I start blind, but it's not fun at all. I want to know EVERYTHING, even if I'm a long way from it. Black and White... Those are two names that are gonna whirl my senses for quite a while...

Anybody excited for the Mario Sports game that's coming next year (or something)?

Resistance 3 has just been confirmed for 2011. Here's to hoping the single-player doesn't suck like Resistance 2!

Can't wait for SCII: LotV. Decode that if you must. I know what it means... And I don't think anybody else would care about this game.

See, that's why I always buy both games in each set for Pokemon. My first play, I go totally blind and try to figure everything out as I go - you know, like it's a real adventure. Then when I buy the second one, usually after I've done the research, I can really build a team and go through fully. I also don't have to lose any of my Pokemon to replay, as I can just trade between them.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Now THAT is a good strategy! I'd utilize immediately, but I will never get any new games... :drop:

If I'm really anticipating a game, I want all the info I can get before I play it. Super Smash Bro Brawl Dojo worked great there with the daily updates. A good tool to keep people interested in the game before release.

Exactly my thinking Silver~ I went into D/P 'blind', as it's been called, but I wasn't very impressed, Idk why, maybe my expectations were too high, but come to think of it, I didn't like R/S very much either... I guess the stories were just not as into it as I wanted, but when I got platinum, I was kinda impressed with it. I wonder what the sequel to B&W is, Gray maybe? XD

Hey, does anyone think Nintendo's making Generation 3 remakes? Remakes of Ruby and Sapphire would be pretty neat.

I thought about that, but I'm not sure, they might eventually or they might just end it after B&W :(

Knowing Nintendo, most likely.
But this brings up another though, the third legendary.
While we have the two legendaries that are probably of Nature and Technology, what would fit as the third?
I've heard some proposing the Pokemon of Nothing, or the Void.

Interestingly enough, it fits perfectly into what some others have theorized Reshiram and Zekrom to be. The Pokemon of Creation and Destruction.
EDIT: And right after I posted that, I just realized that this post was totally off topic. Please respond to this post in the Pokemon board.

Gray sounds a little bit dull for a name. To be honest, I think Nintendo should come up with a more creative, even a funnier name. As for the 3rd legendary, it has to be available in B&W. Just like Giratina in D&P and Rayquaza in R&S.

Yeah right, Nintendo pulling a funny name. As entertaining as it would be if they made it like, Pokemon Plaid or something, it's not gonna happen. Mostly because that's not how you sell a game unless it's intended as a parody. Gray is probable, dull as it is, or maybe Clear. That sounds kinda awkward, though, so it's hard to say.

Also of course it will be available, the issue is just what it's going to be like since we haven't gotten any info about it yet as far as I know. We've got the Yin Pokemon and the Yang Pokemon - so what fits between? It's either gotta be Balance or Nothing. not that I'm saying with certainty that it'll be Balance - I mean it could also be... Nothing. That's just what we're theorizing.

Rayquaza is the balance between Groudon and Kyogre... Giratina isn't quite the balance between you know which two... Rrrgh! MY mind is blowing apart! Technology and nature...

The balance between technology and nature is humans so for the last legendary you'll be able to catch a human :-P Kidding of course, they'd never do that. Between balance and nothing though, balance makes the most sense to me...unless they wanted to bring back MissingNo as the nothing pokémon.
