Platypus have stung people useing the claws on there back legs and to this day no one has lived not because of the poison but because the pain they had was so bad they killed themselves.

...Well, no. It's a fact, but it just happens to be incorrect. I also fail to find how it is offensive. Would it be less offensive if she had said "Everybody in India" or "Everybody in Africa" or "Everybody in the Americas" instead?
