Hey.

It has been so freaking hot here the past few days... upper 90's. It NEVER gets that hot here! AGH. And then you add humidity to that... I mean, it got to like 103 in South Dakota, I believe, but it wasn't NEARLY this bad because it was dry and windy.

My first softball game was today! Well... I missed the real first two games while I was in SD, so it was my first game, personally, with this team. He put me in as catcher right away sine our ace catcher had practice for the other team she's on (it's a reallyreally good select team, I have no idea why she's also on our team...), our senior catcher was elsewhere, and our other really good catcher was sick. I didn't think I'd get the chance to show him I could catch, but I caught one of the best games of my life. It was so exciting. I let two pass balls the entire game, and he kept me in the whoooole game. I hope it means he'll let me play catcher more games... I was beginning to think I'd be stuck at 1st base the rest of my life. Don't get me wrong, I like 1st... but catcher is better :P

Going to see The Last Airbender tomorrow, even though Tango saw it and said it was awful. I'm going in with expectations at rock bottom... so maybe, with those expectations, it'll be okay? Meh.

Oh, and beat the Elite Four on Heart Gold. Whut whut.

Yeah... in Ottawa the humidity is making it feel like over 40C. Even without the humidity the temperature is nearly 35 degrees, which is way too bloody hot for anywhere in Canada.

2nd to last day of driver's ed today, whoooooo... We have such a small class... 11 kids. And I'm taking it in the next town over since the driving school I'm going to closed their office in my town to find a new one in the town. So, I've made friends with 4 of the kids from that town, but there's no one I know from my town. However, there's 4 boys in the class that are the most obnoxious people ever... they'd been making fun of me before, but yesterday they were ceacelessly making fun of me. Yesterday kind of sucked. Bah.

Wow, everywhere is so hot! It's about 30 C here on the West coast too, what's going on? Urrg... I've literally been working 6 days a week for the last 3 weeks. And then when I'm excited to see my paycheque, my manager says "oh btw, the first paycheque is prorated into the second. So you Don't Get Paid This Week, but in two weeks you'll get one twice as big!"...

But, yeah, that's definitely brutal. Just be glad you're not adding humidity onto that.

Soooo driver's ed is ridiculously easy, but MA requires everyone to take it.... I've gotten a %130 and %125 on the two quizzes we've had so far. Tomorrow's the final, then I have to go and take 12 hours of drivers lessons, then wait 'til October, then take a ridiculously hard road test, then get my license! WHOO!

Oh, and, Poik, that is, by far, the best review I've heard of the movie :P I'm still going in with wicked low expectations, so maybe I'll be nicely surprised by effects, or something.

'Ello. It's actually really cool where I am. It even sprinkled a little (...very little) a couple of days ago, but considering the fact that we don't get that much rain around here, it was a surprise.

And Saber, I'm not sure what the road test is like in your area, but from my experience, it's actually not that hard. Just make your examiner feel as comfortable as possible with the ride, and it should be okay. Previewing where you're going to take your test helps, of course.

Oh, it's been raining all day today, since like 5am and it's 2:30pm here now so it's almost to the point where I need atleast some <thin> long pants, this is almost the coldest it's ever been here, when we first moved here it was the rainy season (like now) and it got down to like 55F or so, the family had winter coats on saying it was "Mucho, mucho frio" > Very, very cold... and still pouring... and a tin roof doesn't help muffle the noise.... Anyways, I'm working on getting alot of wats for my awesome pokewalker, that's how I was able to have a Dratini before the first gym :P, now I'm working on getting sinnoh field ~ I finally caught all 6 pokemon on honnen field, took me forever to find that Volbeat >>'
Anyways, I need to get back to drawing comics, bye!

Yes, Arizona is hotter, but it also doesn't snow six months out of the year there. The point is that there is a 60C difference between the temperature in the winter and the summer. The extreme swing in the temperature makes it feel a lot hotter than it really is.

Bleargh... sorry if I sound pissy but the weather in Ottawa really annoys for the simple reason that the temperature is so bloody schizophrenic.

In more positive news, the World Cup Final is on Sunday and I'm hoping that Holland can win its first ever World Cup title. In the meantime I will be busy playing BrikWars with my cousins.

Heh, schizophrenic weather? Just about anyone who has lived where I go to college says that there are days when you see all four seasons in a 24 hour period. It's actually annoying waking up to nearly freezing temperatures, only to have to take off my jacket after the first class because it's already feels twenty to thirty degrees warmer. Then again, I'm the crazy one that walked around in a t-shirt and a unzipped wind breaker during the snowstorm this past winter.
