"Oh dear, now that is a problem, since I do rather prefer to be alive..."

"And you think I care?!"

"Kutolh," Eskay muttered under her breath. "If ever there was a time to show up, now would be one of those cases!" Deciding not to wait and see if the god was actually paying attention, Eskay continued. "What the hell just happened? Kutolh!"

"Don't worry about it--it's all being taken care of."

"That was hardly a helpful answer!" No response. "AGGHHHHHH WHY DO GODS HAVE TO BE SO... so... IMPOSSIBLE!" She realized she was shouting much too late, and quickly clamped her hand over her mouth. Stupid Kutolh... freaking impossible...

"Eskay, do you know where Epifanio and Seraphina went?" Eskay glanced over to see Sira had entered the room. Great... look how insane I look if she saw... er... heard... that.

"Uhmmmmm..." she began, uncertainly. "They kinda... vanished in a flash of light."

Sira was caught off guard by Eskay's loud exclamation, but any questions she had regarding that outburst were forgotten when she heard of the two missing Saber Knights.
They just vanished? Wha...how? She slunk against the wall, raising her hand to her head and letting out a long sigh. Oh, this day just gets crazier and crazier. With the eye not covered by her hand, she looked back at the remaining people. Um, and apparently we have a new guest. He's out in the backyard, but he'll be in shortly.
...Where could they both have gone?

Marina also noticed that Seraphina and Epifanio were missing, when she heard Eskay's explanation, however she spoke.
A flash of light? perhaps a teleportation spell? Rskay, was anything said between them before it happened?

"Ah, that was a good nap. Thanks for "letting" me sleep in your bed [insert name of house's owner here]. So, what's everyone up to?

(As you can tell, I have no idea what's going on...)

Hiding his irritation, Azriel limped back to Siranae's house. "I'm sure exercise is good for the health," he commented blandly to those gathered there, pitching his voice to be audible to those still near the river, "but I would appreciate not needing to hobble back and forth like an invalid. Could we please pick somewhere to finish self-introductions, continue our discussion on what to do, whatever, and then stick to one place? I'm estimating I won't be my old self until after a good night's sleep at the least, so in the meantime I would like to avoid moving as much as possible." He glanced at where Marley had chosen to reappear. "And it's good to see you're alive, although I would've thought finding out why we're here would be more important than a nap. Particularly when you didn't do anything strenuous anytime recently." Inwardly, he winced. Apparently his ire was showing more than he'd have liked it to.

(No idea what to do aside from make Azriel complain. ._. )

"Yea, sorry about that. As for why we're here, in this world, is probably to stop some evil nasty Dark Saber Knight shenanigans" Marley sat down in a chair. "As for why we are HERE, in this particular house, I don't have a clue, and I was hoping someone would enlighten me..."

Eskay couldn't help but flash a quick cheeky grin at Azriel. "Hey, I never left the room, you can't blame me!" she said, mischiveously. "But," she said, taking on a more serious tone, "I have no idea where Epifanio and Seraphina might be, sorry. They just kinda... yeah... vanished." Another shrug. "I tried asking Kutolh, but he wasn't any hope. He just kinda made it worse in that mysterious way gods have."

Dear lord, since when did talking to gods become so commonplace? Eskay remarked silently, sighing to herself.

"Now, I truely am very sorry about this, but it needs to be done..."

"What are you--AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

((Whoops, I was so busy doing fun summer stuff that I forgot this existed.))

"Right then, is everyone here? Yes? No? Maybe? 'Cos I don't want to have to repeat myself half a dozen times to different people." Sini'Kai paused, thinking of where to begin. "I'm probably gonna have to explain a bit of backstory here. Basically, there are The Five Dragon Aspects that were created to watch over my world. They aren't deities, but they're powerful enough to be counted among them. The Five Aspects are Alexstraza the Life-Binder, Nozdormu the Timeless, Ysera the Dreamer, Malygos the Spellweaver, and Nelfarian the Earth-Binder; although he doesn't really count anymore since he was driven crazy by the whispering of the Old Gods and started calling himself 'Deathwing'. He's kind of like an ex-con uncle that your family never talks about about*. Kai then went on to explain the Nexus War and his capture by the Blue Dragonflight. "...And that's how it all went down."

*Obviously these exact words wasn't used, but has been translated from a similar Elven expression for your convenience.

Ummm.... Okay. Said Haddix. Now, what are we suppossed to do in this world?

(I read back a little, and I'm still lost. What are we in this world for? This one? Maybe I should wait, it will probably be explained.)

Nyandimar wandered back into the building with everyone else. ((Let's assume everyone's in since before Sini'Kai's speech.))

"We're here to kick chewing gum and chew crocodile," he interjected. "Honestly, we have about as much of a clue as you, and we're doing nothing about it just sitting here. Unless someone knows something and isn't telling us."

After much explaining, everyone decided to stay at Sira's house for the remainder of the day.

Sira made sure they all left early in the morning, so the sun hadn't been out long enough to make things uncomfortably warm for her friends. From a trader friend she rented a few camels for the trip, for those who prefered to not walk (you can choose if your on a camel or not.) She herself chose not to ride a camel.
At first, the savanna seemed to stretch on forever. But after a while, a line of blue appeared on the horizon, growing bigger with each passing minute until it stood before them, a vast, seemingly endless ocean.

Well, here it is. Sira said to everyone else. The Nuino Ocean. She closed her eyes and smiled, taking in the scent of the salty air. When she opened them again, she turned to the group. Usually the sharks stay well off the shore, a good-

Before she could finish, the sound of a loud splash erupted in the air. Two hundred yards away a large shark jumped out of the water. It looked almost exactly like the one from town, the only difference being that it was much larger, and was lacking limbs. A fish could be seen falling into the shark's mouth, filled with rows of jagged, sharp teeth. As soon as the fish disappeared, the shark closed it's mouth and slammed back into the water, splashing water in its wake.

At the sight of this, Sira appeared a little shocked, but she looked more confused than anything else. That was really strange. She admitted.

The walk through the desert was long, and quite arduous. Nyandimar knew his limits, and figured he could take the walk, considering... So he offered to walk and let another take the camel that would have been his. After a bit, he regretted it, as it felt as if his joints were starting to wear down in the dry heat. He put his hands behind his head and went over the past night in his head.

After Sira had offered everyone beds, she told them to be prepared to wake up very early the next day. Not knowing exactly what to expect, Nyandimar rigged an alarm spell to alert him if he was jostled. He assumed a meditative stance and left the body.

"I see you've waited as I asked you to." Nyandimar startled Haruki as he appeared out of the shadow behind him. He was fiddling with some material components as he spoke.
"You have a lot of nerve, Mr. Bridganign, to go parading about our place uninvited."
Nyandimar grinned at this. "Do I offend? Perhaps you're embarrassed at the ease in which I slip through your control."
"Who do you think you are? Who do you think we are? We will not take lightly your trespasses, nor your insults."
He turned to face Haruki with a mock hurt expression. "What do you plan to do to little ol' me when I have exactly what you need," his expression turned into a smug grin again, "direct access to the Saber Knight bunch that stole your man."
Haruki went to grab him by his collar, but much to his disappointment, Nyandimar slipped into the shadow, and Haruki's hand hit the wall.
"I know things that could turn this tide of battle, in either direction. So ask yourself this, which side do you want me on?"

Gullible loons, Nyandimar thought, all these deities chose poorly. That One Guy would be proud of the work I've done to set this one up. Although, he'd probably be impatient already, waiting for something to blow up. Talk about the god of instant gratification...

Well, here it is. The Nuino Ocean. Usually the sharks stay well off the shore, a good-
Interrupting her thought, a shark burst from the water, caught a fish in its mouth and reentered the ocean. The shark resembled others Nyandimar had seen before, a more popular species in the worlds he traveled than the limbed variety he saw in the city.
That was really strange.

"The limbless one, is that the cause of this? Competition for food against a possibly invasive species?" Nyandimar laughed. "Is it native? Because it sees to me it was merely a pet set loose in the wrong world. C'mon Saber Knights, lets play pet patrol!"

Marley decided to not take a camel. He was fine walking in the desert, seeing as how he was always hydrated. When the group reached the ocean, he saw the giant shark fly out of the water. "Man, that is one BIG Sharpedo. I wonder if I can catch it. I forgot, I left all my pokeballs at home...oh well." He looked at Sira "So, do we have to get across that? Because I know this killer move called "Surf" that'll make it pretty easy..."

Azriel had recovered significantly overnight, but accepted a camel. He wasn't quite feeling up to walking or flying across the desert just yet, and found the experience of riding something to be somewhat of a novelty. He had also rematerialized his cloak and was using it to block the sun from the rest of his body, despite the stifling heat. He had no intention of getting sunburned.
Reaching the ocean, he watched with the others as the giant shark leapt out of the water. "Wait so, are sharks the ones with limbs, or the ones without?" he asked, confused. "They look pretty similar either way."

Sira looked at Nyandimar and Azriel, slightly confused. Well, yes, the sharks are the same species. It doesn't have limbs visible because its not using them, they wouldn't do it much good in the ocean. Why is this odd? Do sharks where you're from always have legs?

"Man, that is one BIG Sharpedo. I wonder if I can catch it. I forgot, I left all my pokeballs at home...oh well. So, do we have to get across that? Because I know this killer move called "Surf" that'll make it pretty easy..."
Sira assumed that Marley was using a slang term for shark when he said "sharpedo", but she wasn't quite sure what pokeballs were. No, we don't have to cross it. But I would like to see what you mean by "surf" later on. But not at the moment. She told him But, um, could a pokeball, that's what you said right?, really catch it?
