The Ask NG About Honduras Thread
Ok, well, I decided to make one of these for Honduras, as I will be living here for 2 years, I'll try to answer any and all questions as accurately as possible ^.^
Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention, my parents (and apparently me) are missionarys here, so you can ask about that too. We also live with another family which sometimes causes us to have anywhere from 10 to 15 or more people in the house for a few days~

You're going to Honduras?
Why? ^^
1 John 3:1 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

Re: The Ask NG About Honduras Thread
I know what churches we go to, there's many different ones, but the question was what was their religen, which, they tell me is Christianity, so it's a bit vague for me.
The churches we go to include:
Sunday: Marcos's church, near our house, In Taulabe. (Taul-la-be)
Monday: Julia's house, also in Taulabe.
Tuesday: New Esperanza. (Yea, new, not nueavo; Es-pah-ran-zah)
Wednesday: Jaitique. (Hi-tea-kay)
Thursday: El Pinon (el-pin-yon)
Friday: Macuzales (mar-coo-zah-lase)
Saturday: Nowhere.
The climate is usually humid, temperature around 70-90 with heavy showers with lasting 5 minutes to 3 days during the rainy season. In the dry season (Autumn) it rarely rains and the temperature is in the upper 85-100's.

I know what you mean there, one of my friends is really religious and one time when a mutual friend asked him what religion he belonged to he just said "The only one."
Question... question... do you like Honduras? How does it compare to where you're from originally?

Re: The Ask NG About Honduras Thread
Actually, when I first got here, I wasn't too fond, and not knowing any Spanish made it even worse.
But now I kinda like it, I mean, when we actually have water and power, that is. Those seem to go out pretty often. You never realize how much you actually under-appreciate something until you're left without water for 2 months, baths get challenging then.
But to answer you question more directly, yea, it's ok here, I like the adventures we go on the most, obviously~
