It was a dark and stormy day, yet it was hotter than anything. The pools were closed due to the thunder, so everyone was a bit on edge.
Searching for a place to hang out and chill, there was a disagreement. Cheez wanted to go cannibalize some cheese at the pizza place, but Silver wanted KFC. Josiah wanted to check and see if the new Pokemon HG/SS guide was in the local game store, but Purple Princess wanted to play some Super Mario. Phonox needed a new phone, and Saber needed some more Kendo gear. Doodleshark wanted some art supplies, Giga-Gar needed groceries, and Sira just kind of wanted to go home. So, after a short argument, everyone went their separate ways.
Obviously, they had never seen this movie before. And surely enough, no sooner had they split up then an ambulance arrived at KFC, to wheel away the recently poisoned Silver. When the Pebbleversionville inhabitants arrived at the scene, they found a tube of mysterious white powder in the kitchen. Which, upon inspection, they found to smell like iocane powder.
Who poisoned Silver? Was there a new mafia? How did they know what iocane powder smelled like? Where was Humperdink? The group of citizens organized a small meeting to answer these questions in the middle of the KFC lobby.

One more question. How were we allowed in the kitchen, no less the scene of the crime in the first place?

Hmm... I don't know much about Iocane powder, but I have a guess that it has something to do with chemistry, which means that someone has to have access to a chemistry lab to get it. Therefore, it can't be Josiah because he wants to work in games, not chemistry, not me because I haven't even started college yet and therefore have no access to a chemistry lab, nor can it be Silver. You know, 'cuz he's dead. However, Saber just recently went to UTK, and she might have snuck into the chemistry lab and stole some iocane powder for her nefarious deeds.

This all goes out the window if it turns out that iocane powder can be bought by any average joe, in which case we could all be victims.

Assuming it isn't, I vote for Saber.

Of course you guys would be allowed in. You're my best friends. Closer than family, all that. I left everything to you in my will - my chickens from Survivor, my title, those free hints I have coming in The Club... it's only fair you should see my final resting place. Why would you even doubt something like that? Don't you realize how close we are? Everything I've done for you?

Also because the culprit always returns to the scene of the crime. You all did it! Lock 'em up, Poik!

Poik would be the obvious choice here if he wasn't narrator, seeing as he admitted to working at KFC and all. However, since he's proven innocent due to incessent narration, I can only surmize that it's Saber, tired of being a mere apprentice, who killed Silver.
