So, teams were decided today. On softball JV. What I expected, but I was still kinda hopin' for JV swinging. Ah well. Should be a fun season. We did a lot of running today... ughhhhhh....

Now... nothing to do for the rest of the day! Kind of nice. Well, other than homework, obviously.

Hi! Not much going on at the moment. Just hanging out and keeping an eye on my brother, who got mono somehow and is feeling pretty miserable because of it. I'm glad that I don't share food or drinks with friends.

As I said a while back, my school is performing Cats. A friend of mine was on house crew, so I went opening night to help them since they were shorthanded, so I got to see the show for free .

Which is good since it's crazy trying to get tickets for it. It gets sold out every night. I went as a patron on Thursday with my siblings, and the only seats we could get were the wheelchair seats (there's one isolated seat in the back of the auditorium that they set up folding chairs next to. Those were our seats).

It was so amazing! Kaida, I can see why you like it so much. The opening theme and Mr. Mistoffelees have been stuck in my head for a while .

Oh, well I never! Was there eeever a cat so clever as magical Mr. Mistoffelees!

So I'm really wanting to have a lazy day today. I have some studying to do for my lab test on Tuesday, but I just can't get myself into the mood for it.

I got my first shiny (excluding the token Red Gyarados)! Unfortunately, it's just a T Unown Ah well.

My first shiny: a Drowzee on my old gold version file which broke.
My 2nd: a J Unown, I believe. Might have been a different letter...

So... yeah... it was rather annoying that I got an unown... for a shiny... whoo...

And... again... no real plans for today now that DI is over... should find something to do...

Hi! The Paul McCartney concert was pretty awesome and I made it back to Colorado ok, just in time to help with the preperations for our congregation Passover seder (sevice and meal). That all went pretty late though, especially when combined with unpacking, so I'll have to wait till morning to catch up on forum stuff.

Hi! Yep, the Passover seder went well. I've always liked seders, especially the food.

Speaking of shinies, my first was a Nidoran Male in Ruby. It showed up in the Safari Zone but I still managed to catch it, along with a second shiny Nidoran Male that showed up a few battles later (why couldn't it have been a different type?). My current shiny collection consists of shiny versions of Nidoran Male, Nidorhino, and Nidoking (I duped on of my Nidoran Males) plus a Biberal, Loudred, and Exploud that I traded for.

Oh I didn't mean that T Unown wasn't my first shiny, just my first in HG - my first was a Tentacool in Sapphire.

I had my last test before exams today! Celebrated with some $2 jello at the school cafeteria First exam's on the 12th, I can't wait to get home!

It's been so raininy the past few days... and by days I mean OH MY GOD THIS MONTH HAS BEEN SO RAINY. Like... the river has been so freakin' high this year... SO MUCH RAIN IT'S CRAZY! River's pretty close to cresting, but the rain has slowed down so we should be safe.

One more school day AND THEN STATES!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D SO EXCITED YAAAAAAAAAY!!!!

I just finished a 1,000 word essay on.... Nutrition. Now I have a 750 word essay, a 500 word essay, 3 200 word essays, a 400 word essay, and a short analysis on Newspapers. I must finish this all by Friday.
