Hi! Sounds pretty cool, Saber. I wouldn't mind seeing it if it comes to a nearby area. Though I got to say that I wish the HP movie people had put as much effort into the scripts and CG as they did the props...
On that note, I saw a commercial for the Percy Jackson movie and it said it was from the director of Harry Potter and the Socerer's Stone. Even if I hadn't read Silver's comments on the movie, that line itself probably would have kept me from going, and explains all of Silver's complaints.

Agh. There is way too much stupid high school drama in my life. My friend... he thinks everyone hates him, he hates himself, and over vacation he went to Mexico and got drunk due to the lowered drinking age.... This is the same kid I mentioned a bit ago who OD'ed on Advil... He says he's gone to therapy before, and they never helped at all. I don't know what to do. I'm trying to help him, but there is no getting sense to him. He knows its stupid that he thinks everyone hates him, but he still thinks it. I don't know what to do. Blah...

I hate that feeling. The paranoia that all of your friends are only putting up with you. Frankly, I don't care anymore, but for some people it takes a while to get over that. I really hope your friend can find some help that... well, helps. Does he have a hobby? I know depression makes it hard to get excited about things, but if you can find something that breaks the sadness, it usually works pretty well. I force myself into social events when I'm sad, which is a little harder outside college. 
Anyway. Whatever I had ate a chunk of my tonsils, and I was on steroids and antibiotics for the weekend. I've spent all the time since in class, in club, or doing homework, but mostly doing homework. Heso! Ugh, I miss being a kid. It was when my debit card was stolen, and I went and filed a police report and then had to take it up with the bank and now that the manager at BK changed I've got issues there, not getting enough hours, not making enough money for gas... I'm still a kid at heart, but I'm facing adult issues here. And another thing - I have held down a relationship for nearly a year (this Friday, February 26~). I... can't believe it's been a year at all. It went by so quickly... So I think of that line from Harvest Moon, something like, "Time used to pass so slowly, but everything sped up once I turned 20. Ten years passed by in a flash." Is it really going to be like that? After how quickly this year has gone by, I can't help but think I'll spend the rest of my life doing the same old thing and not even realized how old I've gotten...

Hi! Yeah, the whole growing up thing is interesting. There's always that wish that you could stop time and some point and not grow any older. Kids have less worries, less responsibilites, and all that. On the other hand though, growing up certainly has its advantages. I mean, I no longer have to save my allowance for weeks or months to get a new book, movie, or game and I can drive where I want when I want instead of trying to talk my parents into giving me a ride.
So, the Jewish holiday of Purim is coming up this weekend. Despite the fact that she's on vacation and not going to be here, my mom is insisting that the "kids" do play. Except that there aren't really any kids (I'm 25, there's a few people in the 18-21 range, and a couple that are 15 or 16) and no one (adults included) really wants to take the time to write a play. So I suggested we do the whole things like an episode of Whose Line and adlib it complete with different "games" for each scene. I suspect it's either going to be hillarious or extremely painful to watch...

It really flies. I swear it feels like I turned 20 last week, not 5 months ago 
The speed that the midterms come up in university doesn't help either. After the first month I swear I see a week without a test as a rare and very pleasant treat. Speaking of which, biology lab midterm tomorrow afternoon, should be fun.
Back home finally, it's nice seeing family but I need time to myself too - and my parents are big attention hogs. I saw Canada win gold live in the men's skeleton runs (like the luge except they go headfirst and facedown) up in Whistler, it was amazing! My family and I were sitting up near the starting line for the 3rd run but we got too cold (metal seats on the top of a mountain at night = freezing!) so we walked down to the finish line for the 4th and final run - I swear you could have heard a pin drop those few seconds between the last checkpoint and the finish line for that last runner. And then of course an explosion of cheers when we all saw the +0.07 on the time

Anywho, at lunch today, my friend was planning out her life. She's going to meet a poor, but insanely cute, boy from the slums, and fall passionatley in love, but then be like "No, I can't, I need to further my political career!" and he'll be like "I'll wait for you!" and then she's gonna go out and marry the Speaker of the House and have influence in Congress and make them change the Constitution so that you don't have to be native born to be president and lower the age to 20. Then, a year later (at age 21), she'll divorce the Speaker of the House and run for president. At 22 she'll become president. 1st year of her presidenscy, she'll change the title from President to Princess. At 24 she'll run for Princess of the World, and, since there are no other contenders, she'll win, and be Princess of the World. At 26-ish, she'll return to the poor boy, but be caught by the paparatzi, then faint, only to fall in the arms of her beloved Jack (the poor boy). She will then order the offending paparatzi to be beheaded. Then, she'll go insane (becasue no good ruler doesn't go insane at some point), only to be saved by Jack. Yeah, I think she's got a promising future :D
Also, I just finished working on a video starring her. The Magical Guide on How to Be a Princess. Most of the footage is from when she and Music Maker came over last week... awesomness ensued. Especially when I was filming her and she didn't know :D . Those of you who are my facebook friends, I encourage you to check it out, and give me feedback :)

Hi! It's errand day for me. Got to pick up my copy of Heavy Rain, pick up the bagels I ordered (my parents like to get a large amount of bagels and then freeze them so they don't have to go to the bakery every other day), go grocery shopping, and go to the Post Office to mail a bunch of stuff (which is a realy pain because the guy who used to own most of the post offices in town retired and closed them all so now there's only one for the whole city).
In other news, the King of the Forums Contest starts next Monday so I went ahead and made a thread for it in the Forums section. I'm disappointed, the snow is finally melting, which should be good for my friends with season depression. I actually have not used my winter coat yet this winter, in what was supposedly the coldest winter in years. And I've been complaining that it's too warm. Heheh... Marluxia, you can be as mad as you want, but please either don't swear on the forums or at least asterisk out the appropriate words. There is a word filter on the forums but, as you have to enter all the banned words manually and I only spent about five minutes setting it up, it's not very robust.
I've got no problems with the cold or snow outside, I just wish my parents would keep it a bit warmer inside. I mean seriously, they've got the upstairs thermostat set to 68... I didn't even set my air conditioner in Phoenix anywhere near that low... I've been bumping it up to the low 70's, but it's got some complicated scheduling thing so I have to change it like every other day. Hopefully I'll be able to figure out how to set it all back before they return. May dad really doesn't like people messing with it. But he's not the one who's been sitting here day after day working on stuff.
