Shauni flipped out the pokegear and staired blankly at the phone
<span style='color:green'>"I dont acualy know how to use this....."</span>
Josaih suck his head and got out his gear and called back to the lab, shauni idly sat down by the counter and began to play with the peace of metal equipment she had found. It was from gene sliser, but by the look of the monster this perticualer machine was not responsible for creating it. She figure it might just have found it at some old lab ruins, but she wondered if geting the whole machine back would be possible, random things like that would be dangures in the wrong hands.

The uplink transmitter he'd given the initial trainers flared to life placing Zephan D'arcy's face on the active monitors of every gear flipped open as well as the main vid monitor behind nurse Joy. The Doc appeared relatively pleased to see the trainers, well as pleased as he would display openly for now. In the background a pair of mr mimes were carrying a rather battered lab asistant out on a stretcher.
<span style='color:yellow'>"Ah Josiah...Shauni...Who are the rest of you? Upload your data with the Eri's comp.."</span>
<span style='color:purple'>"Kiro, I'm working, call me Nurse Joy!"</span>
<span style='color:yellow'>"EH? oh yes, register with nurse Joy here and take the ball over to the trade machine and I'll transfer you a reward in return. As promised I will provide you with special equipment not available to the common public for this first capture. As with the initial, I am prepared to offer TTMs for all of you, these are Temporary single battle use attacks you can teach your pokemon without sacrificing any already learned moves. In all tests the TTM's affects last about an hour, so in theory you could use it in more than one battle if you are swift. But of course you will each have to notify me of your favorite element type so that I can pick the TTM that we offer"</span>
Dr. D'arcy held up an item ball and set it on the special machine used to transmit items into it instead of pokemon. Already he stacked a pair of ice blue goggles onto the loading tray and then behind that a pair of thick black gloves.
<span style='color:yellow'>"I want one of you to try out each of these items, they have yet to be field tested. These goggles are supposed to aid in dark vision and allow a trainer to spot hidden pokemon...there is a setting on it that would allow it to be worn by a pokemon for targeting ghosts with physical attacks and attacking those normally out of their vision range...but as I said they have only been lab tested. The gloves are insulated against the elements and have tiny repulsors in them to give increased distance on thrown balls. I don't care who tests them, but if it turns out that they are field worthy, you'll be allowed to keep those prototypes as well as being offered a discount on the production models when they hit the market.."</span>
A team of MIB looking agents strode in to get the doc's attention, speaking very briefly before departing.
"We're here with to turn over sample's from the 'Black Fog', are you Doctor D'arcy?"
Zephan quickly whipped out a pen, taking the stylus board from the man before realising it was digital and then instead pressed his thumb to it.
"Identity verified, thank you Doctor...the samples will be placed in your possession shortly"
Zephan's impatience was almost icey.
<span style='color:yellow'>"Yes yes, now be quick about it...you are affecting my timetable!!"</span>
Then turning back to the vid-phone, he frowned.
<span style='color:yellow'>"Aren't you trainers decided yet on what you want?"</span>

<span style='color:blue'>"I get the gloves!" *Josiah grabbed them as soon as they appeared.*</span>
<span style='color:gray'>"Hey!"</span>
<span style='color:green'>"Then I'll try the goggles."</span>
<span style='color:gray'>"Fine, don't give me anything..." *Silver sulked.*</span>
<span style='color:blue'>"Let's see..." *Josiah turned back to the doctor.* "I could use a good dark attack if you have any of those. What about the rest of you?"</span>

Zephan still thought it odd for a child to go by a colour for a nickname, well except red...many redheads caught that one...and old guys tended to get the nickname of blue even if they were grey...Bah, nevermind. The point was that the kid had apparently helped out, but felt left out in the testing department...perhaps there was something else that could be field tested a bit early for this eager young foo...trainer. Rubbing his chin softly, as he considered this, he then turned to answer Josiah's question.
<span style='color:yellow'>"Dark? Well of our TTMs I know we have faint attack and crunch handy...Hmm what's this? Crush claw? I don't think this even belongs in this drawer...Shadow ball? That's ghost...who's been rummaging in here? I'm sorry josiah, but this section needs reorganising...do any of those mentioned appeal to you?"</span>
Just as he finished rummaging through the drawer he paused pulling out something that looked like a combination between a camping lantern and a blender. Studying it for a minute he pushed up his glasses and frowned.
<span style='color:yellow'>"Why would we invent a portable pokemon candymaker and scent squeezer? Is this some sort of joke? Who would want such a thing?"</span>

((Ya know, Silver's not a nickname. That's his actual name. And take a wild guess what his last name is... :P ))
<span style='color:gray'>"Well, if I don't get to 'feild test' one of your fancy thingamabobs... Ya got any flying attacks?"</span>

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

(-OOC What I know and what my character knows is not always the same thing. In this case, Zephan beleives it to be a nickname due to the fact that he finds the isea of a boy being named silver completely unthinkable /OOC-)
<span style='color:yellow'>"Flying? Let's see, sky attack, ariel ace, wig attack...my goodness those are overly common...Steel wing, wait...darn it!! Who keeps moving these around? Just cause the word wing is in there doesn't make it flying...I need new lab aides."</span>
Then it occured to the doc exactly what he could have silver test out! There was that language translator that they'd been developing, of course last he'd heard it only spoke pikachu and grimer.
<span style='color:yellow'>"Ishmael! Did you finish adjustments on that translator? Ishmael? Answer me!!"</span>
It was a few moments delay efore a small woman with wire frame specs stepped forward to stammer out a reminder about Ishmael's 'accident' with the 'escaped' Mawhile. Frowning, Dr. D'arcy considered for a moment...he had forgotten about that, but that didn't change things.
<span style='color:yellow'>"Don't make excuses for his laziness and stupidity! Search his workspace...bring me the device!"</span>
His voice lashed out like a whip startling the remaining lab workers into a panic'd search. Soon enough one of them offered up a device like a small PDA. Taking the device and setting it on the transfer machine he turned to the screen.
<span style='color:yellow'>"Place an empty pokeball under the transfer chute, I'll transmit this for you, silver, but be warned, though this thing is supposed to translate pokemon into a written language you can understand, a quirk in the system causes the script to appear in unown if you speak too fast or let it get too hot from overuse. Of course if you have access to all two dozen or so unown in their correct order, that wont matter."</span>
Zephan's good mood was starting to fade, he was eager to get to those samples of the Black Fog, they had taken a huge effort to get hold of and were the substitute he'd been offered when he tried to gain access to the artifacts labeled 'Destroyer's of Pokemopolus'.

<span style='color:blue'>"I guess I'll take Crunch." *Josiah finally made up his mind.*</span>
*The doctor quickly transfered it then turned back to Silver.*
<span style='color:blue'>"I'll be over in the break room when the rest of you are done." *Josiah turned and walked away, hoping to grab some food before they had to set out again. All the while, he couldn't help wondering what their next opponent would be like. Sandflash had certainly be interesting and it was strong... Of course, they had won and he hadn't even needed to use his trump card, the legendary Mew.*</span>

(-OOC did we lose everyone else to christmas and hannukah(please pardon spelling errors)? /OOC-)
The doc tranfered the translator as well as the TTM in question, though now he seemed quite eager to end the call.
<span style='color:yellow'>"What about the rest of you? Come on, spit it out...aren't you done registering yet?"</span>
