Superbowl '10!

Post by Metalheadz »

I don't know how many people on here like football. But I made this anyway.

Basically you put up against Indeanapolis QB Peyton Manning up against New Orleans' mighty RB Reggie Bush. Hahaha not really. But I'm definitely rooting for my home team, New Orleans! :D

But to be honest... The Colts have the best statistics in the NFL in terms of winning. I doubt the Saints will stand a chance, sadly. But I'm still rooting for the Saints all day.

Go Saints!

(P.S I don't care how many of you people hate football, but if you don't like than don't post.)

"Then" don't post. Not "than", "then". Also don't tell people what to do. True, it is pointless to post if it's a topic you don't care about, but you have no right to tell people they're forbidden from posting. It's perfectly within the rules to post saying, "I hate football and don't really care who wins; I'm gonna be watching for the commercials." So...

I hate football and don't really care who wins; I'm gonna be watching for the commercials.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

At least that wasn't agressive or insulting on what you wrote, Silver, which is against the rules. So that's perfectly fine either way.

I might watch for the commercials. It's a whole lot less exciting without a party though.

As for the game, I really don't care. Though I'll mention that EA's annual Madden simulation (which correctly called five out of the past six Superbowls) said the Saints will win.

The game (which I coincidentally just lost) was last night. Saints won. I didn't watch it because the Canadian broadcast didn't get the awesome adverts, and because as a Canuck I am more interested in the CFL's Grey Cup, which was last November.

I generally don't follow any sort of sport. I just know they dimmed the lights in my nearest dining hall and set up a projector so everyone could watch the game. I sat with my back to the wall they were using so I wouldn't get distracted and end up watching too (I wanted to finish my dinner and go back to my room). So I spent my entire time taking apart my chili cheese "Stadium Dog" with a fork and knife because my front teeth are in no state to bite through the thing (darn braces). Probably got a few weird looks. o_o'

RAWR! SAINTS WIN!

Take that, Colts! HA!

INTERCEPTION OF WIN!

*dances*

Doritos commercials also were quite win. Quite win indeed.
