Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Heso! So Heather struck again. Today. not against me - against one of the other managers. Apparently took about $200 from her purse. No proof this time, doubtful if she'll get it back.
On the bright side, she quit. Heather's gone for good... as is her mother. Janine quit, too. Which... kind of sucks, because she was a good manager, aside from the "let Heather get away with whatever she wants" part... This is causing considerably more drama than there needs to be, though... since now we need to replace a manager, too, rather than just being rid of a kleptomaniac.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hi! Hoping to finish my Japanese job applications today. I'd much rather be reading more Brave Story or finish the Higurashi scenario I'm in, but there'll hopefully be plenty of time for that next week.

Hey.
Gotta love maps when there's one section that's a different color :P
In other news... I HATE the week before finals. A lot. Teachers just try to cram in everything at the last second.... one more day of classes tomorrow, then exams next week
Waaaaah.... Algebra II AND III on one test... that's a lot to know...
Haha, yeah, that's probably right :P . I haven't seen it in a looong time.... kinda been a while since the election :PSiranae wrote:Yeah, the book said that too! In there they had it as "Don't blame me, I'm from Boston".
When they talk about an election in the book, they provide an electoral map of the country. Funny map, that year's. The whole thing was yellow except for one little red Massachusetts.

Algebra III? oO
My school only ever went up to II. Then it was on to math analysis, trigonometry, and calculus. D<
Konnichiwa. Weather for the past few days has been gloomy, rainy, and really annoying to walk around in. It does give me an excuse to stay in my room all day when I'm not in class or eating meals, though, so I've been working on something I've never tried before. Hopefully I can put it up in my art thread soon. :3

Heso! Burger King's just gotten a new manager... guy named Rich. Haven't met him yet so I can't judge, but... I'm already detecting one problem. His daughter is replacing Heather. His daughter is replacing the old manager's daughter. If I learned anything from that whole fiasco... it's that managers working with their children is a bad plan, because they get away with anything. So now we've got him and his daughter... and I get the feeling nothing's going to have changed.

Hey everybody, long time no post - turns out my computer cable's busted. No idea how it happened, but I came back from games club (where I was using it) and when I plugged it in, nothing. Nada. So I used my friend's laptop to order a new power cable. This was 4 days ago. I just got an email 2 days ago saying it hasn't been shipped out yet for a mysterious reason and to call them if it's not shipped out after 5. I've been basically living on the library computers which isn't too fun because it's nigh impossible during the day. Too many students use the library around noonish. Oh, and the power cord (made by Dell) costs me about $60 plus tax. I went into Future Shop and they were selling no-name 3rd party cables for $120! I mean seriously? It's a power cable, it should never be double the price - and for a 3rd party one at that!
On other news, that's amazing - congrats Silver! Hopefully the new ones'll be better.

Hi! Yeah Nab, the markup on cables is ridiculous. HDMI cables are particularily bad...
My family's congregation had an Indian dinner tonight. I spent a large portion of the day cooking then hung out talking with people till rather late (which is why I'm only getting on the forums now, and won't be on long). The meal turned out pretty well though.
In job application news, applying to stuff in Japanese is still a pain. My estimated completion time for finishing my Japanese applications has been pushed back till sometime on Sunday. Maybe even Monday.
Looking forward to finishing them so I can get back to doing applications in English.

Hey.
So, our church is doing this thing called the "Chocolate Extravaganza" as a fundraiser for our youth mission trip to South Dakota. It's basically a "all-the-chocolate-you-can-eat-until-you-get-sick-and-maybe-then-some-more buffet" type thing. Anywho, local paper wanted to take a picture for an article. So, our youth pastor just gave us several frosting containers and some pots, pans and chef hats and aprons and was like "Okay, the Townsman told us to be messy... so... GO!" Most of us ended up with chocolate frosting all over their faces (myself included). We posed for some pics, holding spoons COVERED in chocolate frosting, then left. I ate waaaaay too much frosting... oops ^^'
But... now it's back to studying for finals >.< . And a hockey game later today... fun.

Hey.
Is it bad that I've pretty much memorized the tune to Hare Hare Yukai? Because I'm not normally an anime person, but it's just so addicting to listen to for some odd reason.

Hihi All!
Kaida reappears randomly before randomly disappearing again!
Okay so my parents and younger sister (whose only a few inches shorter then me know and I'm 9 years older. just goes to prove that age has absolutely nothing to do with height.) are staying over for a couple nights, hopefully I'll have some food left afterwards. I don't normally cater for 5. >_<
Anyway yeah, work and stuff, Been tired a lot lately. Be nice to have a nights undisturbed sleep. v_v

Heso! Classes start again tomorrow... I've had nearly a month off now, and I somehow scheduled classes at 8 AM four days a week... waking up tomorrow will be a pain.
Also, the new manager at Burger King apparently sucks. I haven't really worked with him yet, but Colly absolutely can't stand him, so...

Hi! As it turns out, filling out Japanese resume forms by hand takes a really long time. I spent a couple hours on it yesterday and only finished two. Finishing the rest of them today is not going to be fun.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
hi.
For some reason Drunk Duck won't let me put new comics up. It started sometime over the weekend and the message says it would be fixed December 14th last year.I had hoped it was a typo and meant today, but I just checked the file upload and it's still bloody broken.
I'm starting to feel like someone hates me and is making life miserable by doing this to me.

I hate typing on public computers... bah. Well my power cable still hasn't even been shipped out yet. We're on Day 9. If it still isn't shipped tomorrow, the 10th day, I'm calling them up and raging until I get a massive discount. This is absolutely ridiculous, I've been computer-less for over a week now!
I wish you the best of luck Kaida, Silver, Josiah, and Aura!
