Round 4: The Village of Shadows

[Kaida]

"Yes Eclectric could be right about the aliens being hostile, then again they might not. So far the only hostile aliens I've run into on this show is the other teams. Of course not all of then are hostile." Kaida said looking around whats appeared to b the town center. "As for splitting up, if we do we should really consider our assets. If we got into a fight Eclectric hammer and my bazooka would be the best weapons we have defending ourselves. But we don't know every one of Richards pockets knives uses and you can never go past a bottomless bag of popcorn as a peace offering." She continued.

"It's a good thing to assume that anyone could be hostile but we don't want to risk turning someone who could be our allies hostile due to a stupid un-thought out comment or action so we need to be careful." She said to the group.

[Phonox]

"Okay, why not?" Tod said to no one in particular. "Let's examine the area around us."

[Winters Rage]

"Hey, I'm not the one saying anything about anyone being hostile, I'm always as nice as I can when I meet someone new, just so long as their not mean back. We should see if we can find a type of: Post office, usually if anyone is this civilized they have got to have one; A mayors office; A large landmark, such as that of a hero or warrior; or just a plain old type of 'Grand Tree'." Chris said to the group. "Hey, Rich, can I see that pocket knife of yours, I wanna do a quick 1-over and see if I can find anything useful." Chris said, motioning toward Richard.

[Eclectric]

Eclectric reached the town square.

[Josiah]

GROUP 1 (Zanther, Sira, Mickey, D.G.)
"Here you go. Thank you." the lady placed the fruit in a small bag and handed it to Sira.


GROUP 2 (Capperoff, Takeru, Tod, Kako)
((If you're just looking at your immediate surroundings...))
The area around the park was filled with houses. They looked to be nice, if not particularily large or fancy. However, a bit to the south, it appeared that the houses started becoming a bit shabbier. A long way to the north, the could just make out something big and black (perhaps a wall) towering above the houses.


GROUP 3 (Chris, Eclectric, Kaida, Richard)
((NG, please don't complain about how often people post. Most of us just don't have as much free time as you (myself included). So uess someone disapears for a long time, there's no reason to make a big deal about it. Eclectric and NG, you're not at the town sqaure (or whatever you thought kind of looked like one) yet. While the town isn't huge, it's not tiny either. Getting around takes time and you guys really haven't been walking for very long (game time has no realation to real world time, remember).))

As the group continued to walk (and argue) they soon realized that they'd left the fancy houses behind and entered what appeared to be a business area. Various shops and buisnesses lined the road, with many smaller roads (also lined with shopes and buisnesses) branching off the main one. The town square, or whatever it was, was still a ways to the west. [Eclectric]

"We seem to have entered some sort of commercial zone," Eclectric said as he looked around, looking for any tall buildings.

"We could head toward that big black thing,then again that might not be the best ideal. I just think that maybe someone important could be around that or someone else on the earth team would see it and go there."

[Metalheadz]

"Do any of you guys realize anything awkward?"

[Siranae]

Sira took the small bag and smiled at the woman. Thank you. she said. Then she turned to Mickey. You can get some more if you want. I'll just be looking around, so meet up with me when you're finished. Sira looked off to the side for a second, thinking. Or you could probably go off on your own if you wanted. 'S your choice. She paused for a second, and a look of realization formed on her face. She frantically added, Oh, not that I want to get rid of you or anything! It's just I didn't want to make you come with me if you didn't want to. Ah, crap. I said that wrong.

[Saber Knight]

Mickey put her hand over her heart, wincing dramatically. "Oh, how could you Sira? I thought we were friends! I TRUSTED YOU!!" demaded she in a very over-dramatic manner. After she had finished, a smile crept upon her face, and she laughed. "Haha, no worries. I understandz wut joo are tryin' t' say. I don't really want to split up just yet, though. Traveling alone is rather boring. I'll tag along with ya."

[Siranae]

Happily amused, Sira laughed at Mickey's very dramatic display. Alright. So, where should we go next? Should we leave the market place, or keep snoopin' around?

[Saber Knight]

"Eh, we should keep snoopin' around here, I think."

[Phonox]

"Well, let's search the park first, since we're already here. We'll go to the giant black tower next. I really don't want to suddenly find out that the portal home was right next to us at the begining." Tod said. "Also, what's awkward?"

[Siranae]

Sira started twist her wrist back and forth, spinning the bag she was holding. Alright. So, you get your fruit and then we'll go. She told Mickey.

"Yeah that would be embarrassing." Wonders what to look for sense she never saw one of the portels before. "What awkward?"
