Round 4: The Village of Shadows

No, I believe we should choose a leader first, allowing us to be better organized and be able to defeat the alien menace and reach the portal easier. If we choose a leader, we can strategically scour all corners of the village for the portal, instead of throwing caution to the wind and hoping for the best. If we do find the portal, we must then search for our teammates. That should be our plan. Now, allow us to nominate someone for leader, but not yourself. Someone must second the nomination for the person to be in the running. Any nominations?

(Just checking comrade, I shan't have any mistakes of whom people are talking too, I am trying my very hardest to keep my posts in order in the RP, the teams have made thinks very much more confusing to me, though.)

GROUP 1 (Zanther, Sira, Mickey, D.G.)
The woman frowned and tapped something behind the counter that Sira couldn't see. "It says here you have plenty of money in your account. If you just want to taste it, there's samples right over there." she points to the edge of her stand, where a plate covered with slices of fruit is sitting.


GROUP 3 (Chris, Eclectric, Kaida, Richard)
The townspeople were muttering to each other and staring at the group (mostly Kaida, as she made a very shapely silloutte) but none of them made any moves to towards the strangers. There didn't appear to be any stores in the immediate area, just what looked to be very large and fancy houses.

"Umm... *Ahem* We come in peeeeeeeeeace!" Said Chris, the floating bag of popcorn, "We ask of you nice people to tell us where we are... we got a bit lost..." The BoP said in a sadistic tone.

Kaida walked over to the people, although she kept her distance when she stopped as to not scare them, or anything of the sort. "I apologize for damage we've done, we found ourselves trapped in a dark ally and panicked a bit when we could see no obvious way out. Please if you can help us, were looking for some friends of our's, have you seen any strangers or any odd portals at all as that would help too." She said giving a slight bow and looking at them, even if there wasn't much to look at.

Chris, the floating bag of popcorn and a very faint 'silhouette' of a human walks over to beside Kaida and whispers to her "What if bowing here is an insult or means you want to enslave them or something similar?

"Well, picking the leader doesn't mean that we have to stop." Tod stated. "Besides, just because you want us to pick a leader doesn't mean we have to. We just need to discuss things before doing them, including you." Tod turned to the rest of the group.

"So, if anyone else wants a leader, vote for them. If you don't, say so. Also, which path would everyone like to take?"

"Well at this point either way could be the right way that get us closer to our friends,however there is a good chance that there still in town and not on either of these paths." Thinks to her self for a moment then specks outloud. "Now that i think of it,seeing if theres a city hall of some sort could help us. They may be abule to have police of some sort look for our friends,however on the flip side if these people don't like us we could be puting our friends in danger."

[Kaida]

"True I hadn't thought of that." Kaida replied to Chris. "Although in almost every culture on earth, even ones that hadn't been in contact, a bow, even if it was performed differently, was always a sign of respect, curtosy and in some cases peace. It would make seance that a similar custom has developed on other planets as well" She continued.

[Winters Rage]

"Except, Kaida, you must remember that we are not on Earth anymore, nor are we near Earth, we don't even know if these people are already under a ruler or if they are governless... Let me try this time." Chris 'turns off' his Power forcing his silhouette to thicken and appear more human that he did before. "Ahem... Please pardon our violent exit from that alleyway that we just emerged from, we did not mean to cause and harm and he did not nor do we intend on harming any of you, if you could please tell us where we can find a town map or even some other people that look like us, that would be very helpful, I am trusting that all of you are very nice and friendly people and do not intend on harming us either." Chris announced to the people, proving to them that they did not, nor do not intend on doing any harm to them, he even set his bag of popcorn on the ground to prove that it was not a weapon "Umm guys, this might be a bit more convincing if you all put your big, large weapons on the ground." Chris grunted at the other team mates which were holding a giant, dangerous bazooka and a very very very large wooden hammer.

Sira was very confused, as in she was not sure what was going on. She had never traveled, as in visited or otherwise come to, this town, which is a human community consisting of a collection of houses and other buildings, before at any time in her life. This was an alien planet, after all, and on her home planet of Earth mankind had yet to master space travel. Sira gave the woman selling fruit a confused look, one eye squinted while the other was greatly raised. Wha, huh? How can I have an account? I've never been here. I don't even own a credit card or anything...Wait, is my bank account intergalactic or something? Do you take dollars?
