Hi! Nice to see you back, Gar. I've been wondering where you were. You didn't miss too much, other than the start of the new Portal Panic round. But hey, Shana's team should be finishing their round and retuning to the louge soon so you could always hang out with her and explore the place a bit. Oh, and The Week of Randomness starts Sunday. Speaking of which, I need to go post Sunday's theme...

hmm... Dunno if I'm going to have lots of time to spend on the forums next week. Volunteer work, concert band practice, application afternoon, concert... yeah, my life has been getting stressful. On the other hand, I have been getting some good information about colleges. I don't know if I told anyone here, but the colleges I'm planning on going to are UT Martin, which is a back up for UT Chattanooga, which is a back up for UT Knoxville, which is a back up for Rhodes College. Then I have to find some scholarships... I'm kinda hesitant to use any scholarships for Hispanics only. You see, I'm Mexican on my dad's side, but I'm white on my mom's, so I feel like I'm cheating the system by using money that should rightfully go to other people, mainly full blood Mexicans. In all honesty, I'm just a white boy who can hold a good tan.

Anyway, Has anyone here decided where they want to go to college or if they want to go back to college after they get their degree?

Hi! Personally, I think minorities get too many scholarships so you should take what you can get. If it was up to me, I'd award all scholarships based on academic merit and/or financial situation and ignore race, religion, etc entirely. But anyway, I'm sure you already know but I attend The University of Advancing Technology in Tempe Arizona and am nearly done with my master's degree. When choosing a college, I'd first look at ones that have good programs for whatever it is you want to study (in my case, game design). Then narrow it down further based on location, cost, and scholarships. As for continuing on to a master's and higher degrees... I'd say that it really depends on your field. In some, getting higher degrees makes a huge difference. In others, most people couldn't care less. It's something to think about and look into after you've gotten a solid start on your Bachelors.

and does anyone find it weird that Saber posted about Gar being Psychic then the very next post he shows up??? A bit too weird for me. :P

Hi! To answer NG... I did post Sunday's theme (and Monday's too) yesterday. Check The Week of Randomness thread.

To answer NG again, to battle wild IPA go to one of the area threads (such the forest, lake, etc). Look back from the newest post until you find the list of which IPA are currently hanging out in the area and choose one to battle (making sure it's not marked as having been defeated by someone else).

I mean seriously? Who the hell mistakes someone like Ronnie James Dio of BLACK SABBATH as an Anime character? That's like somebody asking "Who's Michael Keaton?" Honest to god! I know many of you don't share my taste in just about everything outside of Pokemon, but please...PLEASE somebody give me confirmation that they are at least learning there are cool people, events, and things outside of Anime!

I read plenty of books, I hardly watch anime, just because I havent heard of either of those people you mentioned doesn't mean I don't read books, I read at least 6 large books a month, and that also doesn't give you the right to be mean about it either.

I just got back from the Christmas parade, and I am tired. I also saw the oddest thing there. You know how you go down some streets and there are these light-up decorations on the light posts? I saw one in the shape of the Star of David. I don't understand how that's relevant to, you know, a Christmas parade. I suppose it's to please any jewish people there, but I only saw ONE Star of David.
