Final Fantasy 7 final boss is EVIL PURE EVIL
Supernova.....
Final Fantasy FInal Bosses
Re: Final Fantasy FInal Bosses
Ultimecia from 8 was murder...you had no control over who your party would be and if a character is dead for 3 turns then they die permanently and can't be revived...
On the other hand, Jecht and Yu Yevon from 10 was a cakewalk and a joke. Absolutely no problem killing them.

I wouldn't say he's that hard. I haven't played the game yet, but when I saw my friend fight him, he beat him pretty easily.

Sephiroth actually isn't that strong. Supernova is fairly powerful, but as long as you're ready to Curaga All right after it hits it's not a big deal. Having played all the main FF games, here's my take on their power. Note: Enough leveling can make near any FF boss fairly easy. My ratings are for how powerful you can expect to be after a normal playthrough without any serious power leveling.
FF - Chaos: Fairly hard (Medium if you level enough to beat the strongest monster.)
FFII - The Emperor: Fairly hard (Medium if you level enough to beat the strongest monster.)
FFIII - Cloud of Darkness: Hard (Fairly easy if you level up enough to beat the strongest optional boss.)
FFIV - Zeromus: Extremely hard (Hard if you do a lot of power leveling.)
FFV - Exdeath: Kinda hard (Or possibly hard, depending on which jobs you mastered.)
FFVI - Kefka: Very easy (Medium if you skipped most of the optional quests.)
FFVII - Sephiroth: Medium (Very easy if you got Omnislash and/or Knights of the Round.)
FFVIII - Ultimecia: Medium to very hard (Depending on what spells of your she decides to destroy and whether or not you got everyone's best limit breaks.)
FFIX - Some random guy who attacks after you beat Kuja: Medium (He's fairly strong, but doesn't have all that much HP.)
FFX - Ject (Yu Yevon doesn't count, since it's impossible to lose that fight): Medium (Very Easy if you have Anima and/or any weapons with Break Damage Limit.)
FFXII - The Prince's Fused Form: Fairly hard (Kinda easy if you powered up enough to beat all the optional bosses. He has ridiculously high defense either way.)
FF - Chaos: Fairly hard (Medium if you level enough to beat the strongest monster.)

Re: Final Fantasy FInal Bosses
well i did the Final Fantasy 7 final boss with no ultimate weapons and no special materia(ex.Knights of the Round)
but i beat him
Zeromus is really hard i barely beat him
Main thing that helped was Kain with Phoenix and Darkness and Jump
Use Darkness then Jump
Zeromus kills everyone then Kain avoid attack and usually deals 6000 to 8000 and if you keep it like that Kain keeps avoiding each attack and if your in bad luck then Phoenix backs you up alot(but make sure that you use a ether on Kain after words)

A Twist the FF7 Final Boss
Sephiroth:"you cant beat me cloud, i know all your moves."
Cloud:Not this one! (Summons Rayquaza)
Cloud:"Say hi to my new summon, Rayquaza use Hyper Beam!"
Sephiroth:"WHAT WHY HOW IMPOSSIBLE!!!"
Cloud:"thats what she said"
Quickly after Sephiroth is burned to small small amounts of dust
Cloud:"OH YEAH"(Fanfare plays in background)
