why hasn't he posted a riddle yet? and I still think it's 0, since the question was 'Kits, cats, sacks, and wives, how many were going to St. Ives?' I don't see just 'how many were going to St. Ives' but since you say it's 1, then it's 1. anyways, Quick! state your question.

As I've said before NG, be more patient. If a thread doesn't update for a day or two, it's not a big deal. As for the riddle, it didn't asked how many kits, cats, sacks and wives were going to St. Ives. That was all a preamble. The question itself was "how many are going to St. Ives?".

yea, sorry about that.... I'm kinda irritable nowadays... I haven't gotten hardly any sleep for over a week, and when I do sleep, I get horrible nightmares, so if I seem really irritable or get kinda mean, thats why, sorry in advance >.> I might hold off posting for a few days if I get worse...

Well, eggs were laid before there were chickens. Do you mean the chicken egg or the chicken? Well, chickens weren't the first things on here, but at same point chickens became chickens. At whatever point you want to say that they were really chickens, they had to become chickens before laying a chicken egg. Dinosaurs don't lay chickens.
