Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Heso! Yeah, that was the chapter with the cursed necklace. And Opal, as Nab stated, is a long-time member here that pretty much disappeared a while ago... her name's Celebifly now, but when she first joined it was Opal. Plus, I had always known her as Opal... back in the days of our Neopets roleplaying guild. That was years ago, though... But I still lol'd at the chapter title.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hi! I'm feeling pretty good this week, though I hope everyone else cheers up soon. I finally read the Percy Jackson books, which are pretty good. Next up, I want to check out Maximum Ride and Cirque de Freak, though I've got some school and miscelanious reading to take care of first. Right now, however, I'm contemplating going off to see a movie (exactly what, I'm not sure yet) before settling down for a few solid hours of work on my LittleBigPlanet levels for my Game Project class. It's either LBP or more spriting for my game project, and I spent a lot of time spriting yesterday (animated water sprays take way too long to sprite) so I want to do something else.

If you're looking for a good movie you could try Surrogates. It was pretty good and the whole idea behind people and their surrogates reminded me of MMO's, people living through "someone" else.

Hellou!
Well, I just got a writing assignment from my English class, and now I'm writing about Murder and Fruit people. No idea how I'm going to end it, or encorporate more jokes to divert the teachers attention from plot holes. At least I have until Friday to turn it in.

Whelp. It's been a few hours since I got home from my GED test. Results won't be in until December. Whoopdeedoo I guess.
Saw that yesterday. Kinda sad how everytime Bruce Willis is a detective, he has to have other people lead him to where he's supposed to go...Which would make him not really a detective.NabMaster wrote:If you're looking for a good movie you could try Surrogates. Heso! Whenever there's a birthday in the family, we go out to dinner. And so we made a stop at the local Olive Garden for Sam's birthday. I don't know how many of you have seen the Olive Garden commercials where they say, "If you're here, you're family", but... well, they exist, and that's kind of like their slogan, right? My sister took it upon herself to mess with the waiter and ask if we were really family.
But he said we weren't :(
He was like, "No offense, but I mean, if a bus was speeding towards THIS table, I wouldn't just dive in front of it to save yous guys."

Hey.
Anywho.... life is feeling kind of better, but I've still been real upset lately. Lovely.
...heeey, it's my mom's birthday today and we all went out to dinner! 'Cept we went to some Mexian resturant, and of course my parents felt the need to tell our waitress that I'm taking Spanish. The waitress was really nice, though. She spoke in Spanish to me, and, thanks to my breif unit on restaurants, I understood most of the stuff and even ordered in Spanish :P. I was glad I understood as much as I did, but boy do I need practice actually speaking. I always stutter.Silver wrote:Heso! Whenever there's a birthday in the family, we go out to dinner. I pointed that out when the book first came out, Silver. Bad Silver.Silver wrote:Heso! So everyone here's feeling down, huh...? Weird. Whatever's going around, Colly got it too... Which is enough to get me, too, but I've been resisting.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Heso! Really? There's a book foretelling that I would someday have a girlfriend, and that she would be depressed at the same time everyone else was? And you pointed that out when the book first came out? That's pretty interesting, Cheesey. I really should have payed attention to you, then.
But if you meant to quote the bit about "Silver and Opals"... you probably mentioned that somewhere in the Books section, which I don't exactly visit very often. And even if it was somewhere I would have seen it, the book came out, what, three years ago? Like I'd remember. I only just started reading the Harry Potter series over the summer.

Insomnia is fun, I woke up today at the overly late hour of 3:30am...I've always had trouble sleeping but I've never had trouble with waking up early - it's always trouble falling asleep for me. I really hope I get more sleep tomorrow night, I'll need it for my first organic chemistry midterm on friday. Honestly I'm terrified of that test, I have absolutely no problem with the naming of molecules, resonance structures, acid/bases, and all that - but the IR and NMR spectroscopy is gonna destroy me. If any of you watch CSI and you remember seeing these weird spiky graphs when they're talking about chemicals, that's an IR graph. NMR is easier, thankfully.
Edit: For those who are curious, this is IR (infrared), and this is NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance).

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Ohayou.
I just pulled my first all-nighter of the year working simultaneously on two papers (one at most one page, the other at least three) and watching FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood episodes (which are so much better than those in the first series). I am also currently sitting on my left sandal, balancing my laptop on my shins, and keeping my feet off the floor using my right sandal, because the fire alarm just went off and the entire building is standing/sitting around outside. It's 7:15 AM, there's so much fog that I can barely see the dining hall just a fourth of a mile away, and I'm seriously regretting not having grabbed my jacket before coming out here.
In other news, I was wondering why the RP section has been kinda...dead lately. Even before RP Week really ended, activity there just kinda completely died. Is this also because of the depression that's apparently sweeping over everyone, or am I missing something? oo

Should I...oh whatever. /o/

And another one because they decreased the number of allotted pages on free sites

Hi! As far as RPs go, I'm mostly waiting for other people to post in things. Though, if no one does, I may try and force some along over the weekend.
I ended up seeing 9 yesterday. Awesome graphics, so-so plot and character development. It probably should have been about half an hour longer so they could have fleshed things out more. I still want to see Toy Story in 3D. Maybe Surrogates. Invention of Lying looks funny too... Though, even though my schedule isn't too bad right now, I've gotten to the point where I keep thinking of all the work I could get done if I just stayed at home.
I also got there early enough to walk around the mall where the theater is (which I haven't done in ages since said mall doesn't have many stores I like). Turns out, since I was last there they added a game store (board and card games) and and anime store (I got a KH2 shirt and the Majora's Mask soundtrack!)! Too bad I'll probablybe moving away at the end of the year.
On a completely different note, I had this dream last night where I found this really cool slightly rundown castle for sale. I ended up buying it (even in the dream, I wasn't sure where I got the money) and was fixing it up and starting my own game development studio inside. Wish I was one of those people who believed that dreams predict the future, cause that would be about the most awesome thing I can imagine.
Oh yeah, here's the Recipezaar page I made for my green tea cheese cake recipe.
