Hey! I've only been doing homework and other school crap. I just watched the Boston College game today, too bad they lost to Tech, 48-14. D: Anyway, I'm officially through with playing Pokemon. I won't be heading to the Pokemon forum anymore as of now.

Hi! I made green tea cheese cake with a rice crust. It turned out pretty good.
Yeah, this is pretty much the main thread of the forums where we all talk about what we're up to. It actually started out with the original "Saying Hi to Josiah" thread on the very first forums (which no one here, other than me, was around for). When the "new" forums opened up, the "Son of Saying Hi to Josiah" thread was created and, since then, I've added to the name every time the forums have been upgraded, leading to the current title.
Done with Pokémon, WS? Like forever? Why?

Hey.
Marching band show went... alright. I mean, we performed well, but the field was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUDDY! ARGGHHHH! Our tenor sax nearly fell over, I nearly slipped several times, and our color guard guy also came wicked close to falling. However, we were able to dodge near disaster after near disaster.
Tomorrow's the competition that counts, anywayz.
Oh, and for the first time in my life, I had my hair put in half ponytail. Apparently, I look good with it. *shrug*

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
I'm done for now, hopefully forever. I mean, not to insult anybody in the forum, but I think it's too childish of a game. I moved on to bigger games and RPGs that interest me a lot more in Pokemon. I guess the 700 hours of play time in D/P/Pt wasn't really worth it after all... :(Josiah wrote:Done with Pokémon, WS? Like forever? Why?
But it's alright, I don't dislike Pokemon neither do I like it. It's a perfectly fine game, but I just don't enjoy it as much as I used to.

The only Pokemon-related thing I will work on is my sprite comic, which still seems fun to me. :D

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
My interest in Pokemon has a switch. Once I hit it (usually I'm not aware of just how I've hit it, or when), there's practically nothing but Pokemon in my head until it shuts itself off again. This could take anywhere from a few days to several months. It's always there, though, that enthusiasm that first got me to beat Red Version. It's just not always active.

Hey.
(but, yes, I am a girl... though my real life friends often just consider me as one of the guys, since guys are my closest friends)
So... competition today, and such. Then I get to go to my second cousin's house right afterwards. Yeah... practically no free time this weekend. Thank GOODNESS we have tomorrow off, or else I'd have no time for homework. Trying to make plans to hang out with my friends, though. Need to also finish up my ref test. Bleh. It's kind of annoying. Where "kind of" is a variable meaning "arrgh, I took a test just like this last year, only with different scenarios that don't actually happen in game at a lvl 1 game". *nod*
Nope. Sophomore in high school! Booyah. Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! I occasionally get burned out on Pokémon since I've spent so much time on the various games, but the new main games always suck me back in (probably helps that I only buy one out of each set though). I wouldn't call it childish though. Admittedly, the stories tend to be pretty simple and I would really love to see the games go more in the direction of the Pokémon Adventures manga in that regards, but the gameplay is ridiculously deep.
You know, I've had a free movie ticket for like a month and still haven't gone. That's kinda sad... But I've got more free time now so maybe this week I'll finally go see Nine, or maybe Toy Story in 3D.

Yeah, Pokemon has a pretty basic storyline but the gameplay is pretty intense (just think, you have to remember each type's strengths and weaknesses to play effectively and all that). I will always be sucked into the Pokemon games again, if for no other reason than Super Smash Bros. and Pokemon Snap
Hm that sounds really great Josiah, what's the recipe on that cake? And yes, you definitely need to see 9!

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hey.
We rocked at our band competition yesterday. 4 out of 5 stars, the only Division I band to do that (and not many Div II bands got it either... we even beat a Div IV band
). According to our director, we've never gotten 4 stars at this particular competition. So... yeah, we were all wicked excited. This also means that at finals, we'll go later since we did good at this show. Yay for not having to wake up at 6 AM!
The things judges gave us 3 stars in were music and percussion (understandable, since we don't even have a drum line, and a not-so-great percussion would bring down music. Last year they got 2 stars at this show, so 3 is chill). Plus, music grades are just so hard with a small band, no matter what. 4 stars in visual, color guard and effect (most of which were 4+'s, according to our band director after talking to the judges). But... 4 stars! YES! We rock! One band yesterday got 5 stars (I thought the band before them was way better, though... very surprised to see the band before them only got 4 and that this band got 5) in Div... IV, I believe. 5 is pretty much impossible for a Div I band since we're so small. 34 people, I believe? Smaller than last year's 41-ish. Only 22 people in horn line (well, theoretically at least. We have a blank, bringing it to 21). Rest in pit or color guard.
So, long story short, marching band (especially ours) kicks butt. *nod*
And UMASS Lowell. They have two absurd trumpet soloists, along with a couple epic trombone soloists. Seriously, if you weren't looking, you'd probably think that one of the trombone solos was a trumpet solo. The trumpet solos, however, were absurdely high. It was incredible. Like.... how on EARTH can you EVER hit that note?

Hi! I was just gonna post my cheese cake recipe here, but figured that making an official recipe page for it would be even better. I should have a link to it tomorrow.
