Wow, can't believe I forgot to update this for so long... Well, here's a set of words to make up for it.

nichiyoubi: Sunday (sun day)
getsuyoubi: Monday (moon day)
kayoubi: Tuesday (fire day)
suiyoubi: Wednesday (water day)
mokuyoubi: Thursday (tree/wood day)
kinyoubi: Friday (gold day)
doyoubi: Saturday (earth/ground day)

taiyaki: a fish shaped pancake like thing stuffed with azuki paste (though you can occasionally find other fillings as well)

((Sora is a name that can be used for both boys and girls. Not quite sure how popular it is in real life, but there's a decent amount of anime characters named Sora. There's actually a decent amount of nature based names used in Japan.))

sakura: Japanese cherry blossoms, Japanese cherry trees (which have the afore mentioned blossoms), a popular name for girls

Interesting how the names of anime characters are japanese words, but the days of the week thing, wow, I guessed like half of them, Thursday, somehow I new that was wood day or w/e but Friday surprised me >.> and the whole:
