Hey.

Preview show went awesome today. UMASS Lowell has an awesome marching band, and they had an AMAZING trumpet soloist who had four-ish solos that were all amazing (and super high). They also had a couple soloing trombonists. Oh, and they have no clarinets in their band. Coincidence? I think not.

Played trumpet at church today, too. Messed up a couple times, but it during a duet with another trumpet that also had an organ accompaniment, so it wasn't really noticable.

Working on making a video... still can't think of a name for it. Y'know, on LoZ: TP if, at the beginning, you wait, after the little vid with Link riding 'round on Epona, it goes into another vid with awesome background music? Well, yeah, I found the mp3 fort that and I wante to make a video with Windows Movie Maker really bad, so I decided to use that. It was working fine at first, but then the file became large and WMM started glitching, and each time I watched it the music wouldn't line up like it's supposed to. However, when I publish it to my comp, it works just fine. So, now every once and a while I have to publish it, and then just listen to the music to try to line up the clips otherwise. Its tricky, but I'm managing. However, near the end, I have several clips thar are around half a second long, and they are EXTREMLY ANNOYING TO LINE UP WITH THE MUSIC! Driving me insaaane... and I still can't decide what to use for the FINAL CLIP OF AWESOME. Grrr....

Yeah, I've had that same problem with WMM, where the sound wouldn't line up. :<
In my case, I wanted to make a Bleach AMV centered on Ichigo and his inner Hollow, set to the song Animal I Have Become by Three Days Grace. I'm positive the combination has been used before, but I wanted to try making my own thing. It's been stuck in the WIP status for...maybe over a year now. :/

Hey! I finally got back into playing Runescape after 2 years. And man, do I have to admit, it's improved a whole lot after a while. lol ^^

REALLY?! That's.... REALLY?! You think that? .....REALLY?!

Wooooowww.... the few times I've gone on lately (where lately is a variable meaning any time from a month ago to a few months ago) I've thought it went SO downhill. Like... wilderness is fail. PvP servers that are just a MILLION stupid people at the Lumbridge spawn point? I missed being a member... now whenver I walk around with my ex-member character (not much I can do with her though), I get stalked by random people saying "lolz give me money" or "be my gf". ANNOYING! I'd forgotten how much better member servers were... NO ONE DOES THAT! NO ONE IS THAT N00BISH!

Even with my non-member characters, it's no fun anymore. The only thing that's improved are the looks for your character, which don't even matter when you've got armor on. Well... I usually don't have my character wear a helmet, though, unless fighting tough stuff.... and I can't even use my member magic robes and magic staff :( . Hmph.

Surprisingly I just got back into it after about 3-4 years. I made up a new character and it has improved a bit in some ways... Still hasn't helped with all the noobs. A friend of mine got called a noob just because her character wasn't wearing Armour... her character wears priestess clothes... which look like normal clothes.
And then I've been called a bot a few times because I have a habit of ignoring people who I think are idiots...

Unfortunately no matter how many upgrades any online game gets, you can never avoid the noobs...

As for Runescape, I played a lot as a kid but as soon as I found MMO's (my neighbor and good friend played DAoC and got me totally addicted for a good 3 years) I left Runescape behind. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted and pretty decent for a free game Mining was a bit tough, especially when the best spots to mine from were in the PvP area.

Thing with annoying noobs in MMOs is that most of those people are just as annoying as experienced players. I think the problem isn't so much new players as moronic players.

I'm still obsessed with Ragnarok Online and Mabinogi, though lately I play the latter a lot more often because all my friends on the former ditched. In favor of playing Mabi. And a few of them have now ditched Mabi in favor of Dungeon Fighters Online. @.@
I tend to use the term "newb" for beginning players and "n00b" for the obnoxious moronic ones. It's okay to be a newb. Not so okay to be a n00b. Generally, the idiots we have to deal with in RO and Mabi beg for money or items, or they kill-steal your monsters. I was particularly annoyed one day on Mabi when I was trying to kill a Giant Dragonfly. I was using my first character, which has the highest rank of Icebolt (those highest ranks are no mean feat to reach in Mabinogi @.@). Lagged and got killed. Some weirdo ran over, laughed at me, called me a "newb," killed my dragonfly, then ran away without reviving my character. My friend had to finish off the monster he was fighting and come revive me. - -
