My friend is now reccommending mecha anime to me, and so he told me to watch some good Gundam series'. He suggested Double O for my first Gundam, but I'm not quite sure about it.
So far the only Gundam I've seen was G Gundam, a few episodes, but I barely even remember it. Can somebody tell me some good Gundam series' and what to start with?

Gundam Wing is awesome. Starting with episode 1 is usually a good idea

Most of the Gundam series have fairly complex plots (though there are some exceptions) so starting from the beginnng of whatever series is definately a good idea. Gundam Wing is definately a good one and I'm also a big fan of 8th MS Team. I've heard a lot of good things about Seed and 00, but I haven't got a chance to watch them yet myself so I can't say for sure.

Seed is a decent series, I just didn't get all that into it. I have a friend who watched Seed Destiny and from how she described it, I think the show would have been just fine without it.

Like I said, haven't seen it myself, but I know a lot of people who like Seed. Well, I've got the first season on DVD so I'll be watching it fairly soon and then I'll know for sure.
