Saber Knight Saga OOC

Yeah, Gar's got something planned (the Greek Pantheon is chillin' in Egypt right now), but you can throw in some stuff too, I guess.

Ehehe...yeah. I got nothing right now. I just figured that it's Sira's world so she can do whatever she wants with it. I have no idea what to do now that the Corrupted ones are involved. I was planning on having a new threat arise. You remember one of the Greek gods saying something about little black things crawling all over the place? And the guy asking where the original saber was? I kinda wasn't planing that on being a corrupted one. But, it's too late know, time to adjust. Maybe those black monsters can be their minions...

Anyway, I'll plan something out. Currently most of the Greek Pantheon is in either Valhalla or the Egyptian Pantheon while the summit of Mount Olympus is being rebuilt. So yeah... Prepare for sup-par story arcs!

Er, well, I'm pretty sure that the Norse Pantheon is situated in Valhalla. Well, most of them, anyway. Also, I'm thinking that since the gods are known by different names in different dimentions, It's pretty safe to guess that Apollo=Ra.

Being at work all day left me with plenty of time to think about my homeworld. I would like if I could have a little control over the place, seeing as I kinda live here .

As for a plot, I was thinking you guys could come around the time of the festival that takes place every year to celebrate the flooding. Maybe something could go wrong and there's a giant sea monster or something.

A little fact about my homeworld. Every "human" is a mermaid, but has legs on land. Also, the types of bottoms mermaids have vary. Some have the generic fish-scales, while others have shark fins and other stuff (Sira has a dolphin tail). Since they're fish-people, they don't have to relocate due to flooding. So people are practically in mermaid form the entire duration, including the festival. Their houses are build so that, with slight modification before the flooding, they will float when the time comes (and will be anchored to the ground).

I guess we'll keep the same religion, since changing it would mess with the pantheon.

I'll think of the details of festival activities and general society later. I didn't actually spend the entire time at work thinking about it, just here and there, so there's not much. Sorry about that, but right now I'm so tired.

Just an update on some stuff...

Sira's plot is fine (I think I must have stated that somewhere... 'cos otherwise it's a really delayed reply). I'm going to dabble a tad in all of the little plots, though, becaue there is indeed an overarching, larger plot ( *collective gasp* )! It invloves the Corrupted Ones, and such. They're really not nice people, y'know. But, I do need ideas on some gods to use as patron gods for a few Corrupted Ones. So, just throw out some ideas. The gods don't have to be known in their mythology as being "evil", but that works too. I don't want them to all be "evil" gods, though.

And, on that note, just something for the Greek Pantheon thing--
The reason the Corrupted Ones were able to strike so heavy a blow to the Greek Pantheon is becuase there was a traitor among the Olympian gods. Said god's Saber Knight is a Corrupted One. That I am going to add to Gar's plot.

And, another note: I am soon going to bring in Apollo's Saber Knight for some plot stuff. So... don't get any random ideas of introducing Apollo's Saber Knight yourself.

Well, I'd suggest Hera because she doesn't really like all her husbands illegitimate children(Hercules?) but since he's Agnamatus' patron god and not his father, I don't think it would work. If we're going to go by Disney Mythology, then Hades would be a good canidate, but he isn't that evil in classic mythology. What about Loki? He's the trickster god of Norse Mythology, and he's also an enemy of Odin, right?

Yes, I was thinking of using Loki. I've got a pretty good plan for his Saber Knight.

I'm almost certainly not making Hades have a Corrupted One as a Saber Knight. I don't like how Disney made him evil. He really didn't do any more bad things than the other gods.

I'm going to be using Set from the Egyptians. He's a pretty nasty dude. Cut his brother Osirus into pieces. Not very nice, if you ask me.

Alrighty, I've got my homeworld's features and plot all figured out. If something big is going to happen, I'll contact Saber via PM to see if it'll work with what she has in mind.

Well... there isn't exactly an "original Saber". However, I've thought of something that could work, if I modify things around a tad. Gods aren't straightforward, so... yeah... it could work. Part of my plan does involve Ra/Apollo and his Saber Knight, though. What you've done so far is fine.

Well, by original saber, I meant the saber given to the first saber knight of his/hers/its dimention. For example, Zeus has the first saber hidden away. It was also what the mysterious being demanded of before we had the time warp.
