The Portal Panic Lounge

"I don't have money on my person, either. Hmm... " Eclectric thought for a moment.

She looks for a type of bell that you would find on a counter. "Should we just help ourselves?"

"No. For all we know, aliens are outer space barbarians." Eclectric tapped the bell and rang it.

Eyes get wide. "Would they cut our arms off if we took a bathing suit?!" Shivers and looks around.

[Eclectric]

"I don't know, but I don't really want to find out." Eclectric rang the bell once more.

Kako grabs Eclectric's other hand softly. "Wait don't ring the bell either. What if on this planet it means you want to fight. And really this isn't swim wear is battle equipment!" Points to a blow up fish. "That would be a sword made out of some really strong alien metal!" Looks at him with puppy eyes like she really doesn't want him to ring the bell again.

"Yes, can I help you?" a beautiful mermaid like alien approached the nervous piad.



CONNER & TAKERU

The louge will filled with comfortable looking chairs, many of which were set in groups around an assorted collection of coffee tables. Full length windows lined the walls, offering great views of the landscape far below. Other notable features include a a cocktail bar, a set of desks with what looked something like computers sitting on them, and stairs leading up to the next lounge floor ((there's three of them and you're currently on the lowest)). All sorts of aliens were milling about, relaxing and chattering with others.

"Wow. Are we in some kind of executive hotel?! This is amazing!!" Takeru exits the elevator and observes the place.

Smiles friendly at alien. "Hello I'm kako, and this is my friend Eclectric." Gestures toward him. " We where wondering how much it would cost to get one of the bathing suits."

Eclectric held Kako's hand gently.

"Hmm?" she seemed a little puzzled. "The price tags are on the suits. You can read Galactic Standard, right? Or are you having translator problems?"

((FYI: Thanks to alien nano-technology, you're able to read and understand all the common languages in existence (they look and sound like English to you). Similarily, nearly every alien will be able to understand you. This was explained to you in your initial briefing before you ended up in the Earth Team's suite.))



CONNER & TAKERU

The aliens continue milling about, paying little attention to the two humans. Takeru doesn't spot anything of note that he didn't see before. ((If there's something in particular you want to know more about, such as the different types of aliens, the view, the bar, etc, make a post specifying what it is in particular that you're looking at/for.))

Takeru walks towards the windows "Nice view, I can only imagine what else awaits here." one humanoid female alien walks beside Takeru. "um... Hello."

Smiles at the alien. "Oh I see, well thank you." Looks up at Eclectric and whispers. " I guess where going to have to think of something else." Waves good bye to alien. " Thanks anyways." Smiles.
