"Suicune?!" Terri asked, her voice filled with excitement, "That'd be awesome!"

"Pichu! Pi!" Spark chimed happily.

"Well, having not been here very long, I don't really have a map of the place in my head," Terri said with a frown, her previous excitement diminishing. "I don't really have a manner of flying about, if this distance to Chicole village is long. I usually ride about on Fireball, my Arcanine. Y'know, take my time traveling place to place, and such," she shrugged, then smiled. "He's a fast li'l Arcanine, to be sure, though. I'm sure I won't hold you fly-guys up at all."

[Josiah]

"That would only work if we don't have to cross any mountains or rivers." Jack frowned. "But I can withdraw one of my other flyers from storage and lend it to you for the trip."

Louanne glanced at Aura. "Flight'll be able to get me to the Ruins well enough," she said with a smile, declining the offer to ride on Tim. "However, if Kevin needs a way to get there, he could come with one of us." As she spoke, she released her Pidgeot from his Pokeball. The large bird Pokemon stretched and made a quick check around to make sure the noise level was more bearable. Then he promptly began preening; being crammed into a ball made him feel as though his feathers were disarrayed, even if they weren't. Louanne hid a smile at his behavior and waited for the last member of her team to give some indication of getting ready to leave.

"Well, since Almia has to Trainers as such, we're not really equipped with things you'd normally find." Jing began. "Although Professor Hastings might have a machine in which you can get Pokemon. He's friend's with Professor Oak. If not it will only take about a day to get to Chicole Village riding on Dodrio, there's a few around here. So I could easily get some for us." Jing said to Jack, Terri and Kevin.

((If you're looking for PC's chances are the only person that has one is Professor Hastings. He's at the ranger union so you'll have to ask around to find him. Also in Almia the Ranger Bases act as Pokemon centers in the way of healing Pokemon, also a lot of the citizens know first aid and how to look after one. If needed you could request items at a store and they might be able to get them for you, such as potions.))

With the transportation discussions taken care of, Jack left to retrieve his gear (most of which was then stored in his laptop), and returned to the base to wait until his companions were ready to set off.

Kelvin watched as the others called out their bird pokemon and stood back with silence. How was he a Breeder and never had a flying pokemon raised. Well, he has one, but its resting from being injured a few weeks ago and still can't fly. That was the only one he had.

"Sorry to intrude, but I don't have a flying pokemon at the moment. Mines been hurt and is being taken care of right now back at my home. I guess I'll have to go with someone." Kelvin knew he was going to get it from everyone else. He wanted to go so badly and to help out the best he could. "Or I could borrow one."

[Saber Knight]

Terri smiled at Jack. "That would be a big help, thanks." At the mention of a PC, she shook her head. "Nah, I don't need any of that. I'm always ready. I'll just go wait for my companions..."

[Josiah]

"You can ride my Staraptor." Jack said to Terri as they waited for the last member of their team. "He's pretty friendly. I use him sometimes with my students. Why don't you introduce yourself?" he released the large bird.

[Saber Knight]

Terri grinned at the large bird, though Spark looked a little less excited. "Pichu..." she squeaked nervously. Terri gave her a comoforting pat on the head.

"Don't worry, it won't bite.... at least, I hope so," Terri said, flashing a grin at Jack. She then turned back to the Staraptor. After a moment, she did a dramatic bow, causing Spark to hold on tightly to her hair to avoid fallling off. "Hullo there, Staraptor, I'm Terri," she introduced. "Oh, and this is Spark," she added as an afterthought.

[Josiah]

"Star, ar, aptor." the Staraptor replied in a plesent tone. It seemed friendly.

[Saber Knight]

Terri giggled. "Aw, lookit 'im, don't be scared Sparky," she said soothingly to the small Pichu on her head. "'S' not like it's gonna eat you."

"Pichu! Pi!" Spark seemed a bit distressed at that thought.

"Haha, I'm kidding, little buddy," she said as she reached out to stroke the Staraptor. Nervously, Spark crept down Terri's arm and onto the Staraptor's head.

"Chu."

"See, lookit, you've got a new friend!" Terri laughed, and reached into her bag to take out her sketchbook. "Well, while we wait, do you mind if I do a quick doodle of your Staraptor? I really don't have a good sketch of one in here. Don't see them much in the wild. Plus, I'd never get Spark on the head of a wild Staraptror," she added with a chuckle.

[Josiah]

"Sure. Go right ahead."

Kevin poked his head into the room where Jack and Terri were conversing. "Yo, dawgs. So the last bloke isn't here yet?" Kevin walked into the room, raising his hand in greeting as he turned towards Terri. "Anyways, I'm Kevin nice to meet you." Kevin's eyes then narrowed as he turned towards Jack. "...Hello Maple Flap-Jack." Kevin said in a tone in which one would speak to their arch nemesis. Kevin then proceeded to sit in a corner and play Progress Battles: Weeks of Decay on his DS.

"Great..." Jack muttered too quietly for anyone to hear. "The crazy guy has to be in my group..."
