Wow. My mom just put a bag of dog poop on one of the neighbor's porch. I really can't believe she'd do something like that but apparently someone keeps letting their dog poop in the front yard.

In other news, I need to start waking up earlier then I have lately, seeing as band camp is four days away.

I think the official colour is amber, but I'm pretty sure most people are happy with yellow-ish.

So I was playing WAR today and I tried doing one of the really tough dungeons today with my guild. We were in there for about 4 hours, we wiped several times, and we didn't even finish 1/3rd of it...that was brutal.

We wuz having a debate. My friend is going to Drivers Ed. right now, and he said at class his teacher was all "wut color are yield signs" and everyone was all "yellow!" and she was all "NO THEY IZ RED!". A few years prior, his sister went to Drivers Ed. and they were asked the same question. The entire class said "red!" and the teacher was all "NO THEY IZ YELLOW!" Well, I thought they were only yellow, but while we (well, my friend's mom was driving with my friend, me and my friend's sister in the car as well) were driving and we kept passing red yield signs with white centers! Fwa? AAAAAAAAAAH!

So, then I texted a bunch o' my friends, being all "wut color do YOU think yield signs are?" All but one said yellow. TAKE THAT *insert name of my friend's older sister that I am to paranoid to reveal on the interent even though it means nothing here*!

Off to camp next week. No laptop .

Gonna go swimming now. YAAAY!

Hi! I'm starting on chapter 4 of my thesis, which is basically just a whole bunch of numbers and graphs. Easy, but dull. On the plus side, there's only five chapters in the whole thesis and neither 4 or 5 are very long so I'm almost done!

On a diffrent note, I'm going do a ROM post tomorrow and possibly some other RP posts tomorrow..

Ugh... y'know how I said my computer was in a coma? Well...we had to pull the plug on it. All my files are gone. Everything . I still have the laptop (typing on it right now) but I had to reinstall every program. It was kinda shocking at first to find that everything I had was gone, but I guess it's a learning experience. I'm gonna buy a thumbnail that I can back up my important stuff on every so often, so this doesn't happen again.

I guess on the up side losing that stuff made me not want to deal with laptops, thus I spent less time on computers for a while.

On another note, if any of you haven't seen Jim Gaffigan's stand up routine "King Baby", go rent it now. It's hilarious .

Man. I brought two swimsuits to VT and, aside from not having time, I haven't been able to go to the pool because the only time it is open is from 5:30 PM to 7 PM for anything other than laps and I've been too lazy to schedule around that.

Just checking up in this site. I still have homework. Almost done... Only have been working for the entire week straight (other than seeing HP and the Hangover). I miss the summer...

Hi! Backing important files up often is something that you can never learn too early with computers. I used to back things up on floppy discs, then CD-RWs, then DVD-RWs, then several DVD-RWs (with a few things also on a flash drive). Then last year I decided to make things easier and pay for an online backup service. Now that it's installed and configured, my stuff is backed up automatically whenever I change it and, since it's off on a secure server somewhere, it's safe even if my whole apartment burns down. Totally worth the money. At least when you're like me and have tons of important stuff to backup.

Hi! I didn't do all the gummy ship EX missions (had other games to play and just didn't feel like it), but other than that I did everything. Got all the Jimmeny memos, beat all the optional bosses, made every item, etc. But yeah, Lingering Spirit is a really nasty fight.

Ugh that sucks...personally I use an external hard drive but that's just because I like having the comfort of being able to see and touch it, whereas with an online backup you only see it's there. Plus I store a ton of stuff on my external and it's handy being able to access it in areas that don't have the internet!

Hi! See, I'd only get an external hard drive if I needed a lot more disk space than the hard drive in my computer has (which I so far haven't) or frequently needed to moves large amounts of files between systems (also not something that I've had much need for). I wouldn't buy an external hard drive for back up because, while it'd work if my computer failed, if my computer was stolen, destroyed, etc I'd probably lose the external too, and all my backups along with it.

I have three of the four Fallout 3 expansions and god i've been playing that game to death. Capped at level 20 before I downloaded broken steel, and gone threw 60 hours plus, and I STILL haven't finished all the sub quests, main plot and found all locations. This game is taking over my life.


Plus Dogmeat got turned to goo!!

I have his puppy thought thanks to the "PUPPIES!" perk, but he still died!
