I've met an online friend in real life - My girlfriend. :P
Oh, and Silver, I wouldn't be happy either. I want the PV theorem to become a scientific rule.

Konnichiwa.
Uh, I actually didn't know there was supposed to be a space after an ellipsis... oO'
Whoops.
I haven't yet met any of my online friends face-to-face, but one of them did call my sister's friend's cellphone while the three of us were in the same place, so we've talked over the phone. Kind of. It was mostly my sister and her friend talking. I just yelled hi at him then went back to drawing.

This is what I was talking about in the rant thread. The PVF theory is only effective if there is one or two people who are skilled in grammar. I'd also like to add something to that theory. The PVF Theory is an active effect, not a passive effect. To clarify, it only works if people are taking an effort to improve and/or correct grammar. Now, I may not have the best grammar, but I make an attempt to have my sentences be as grammaticly correct as possible.

Hey.
School undergraduatate awards were today. Got one for Excellence in English. And, to think, before freshmen year I hated English. Hm. I think Pebble Version has had a positive effect on me (not to mention I had the best English teacher EVAR).
Online friends... it would be cool to meet them (OH LOOKAY I USED A SPACE THAR, I LEARNZ!). Definitly.
Arg... my tooth huuuurts. Darn wisdom teeth a-comin' in. Those need to get pulled, and get pulled quick.
And, MCAS was easy today. Hopefully, it'll be just as easy tomorrow.

See Saber? I told you that state issued tests are easy. If you know your stuff and do the practice tests one or two times, you'll have nothing to worry about. Now, as for the ACT and SAT... *shudder* Much harder than your average standardized test. Which reminds me; I forgot to tell you what my score for the ACT I took in april was. My score is a 24, which is above average. I needed at least a 21 to get the Tennesse hope scholership, which helps pay for my tuition. A 25 will get me into UT Knoxville, and a 27 to get a scholership to help pay for my books, dorm, ect. I'm planing on taking the ACT again in September.

Silver,my last post was a joke(Except the grammer nerd hat part, you can keep that).I know full well that post I made before it was bad as I forgot to reread it and check for mistakes and it was probaly late at night when I posted it(Like this post, see if you can find all the mistakes silver!)Its hard to tell if someone is kidding on the forums so you must have thought I was serious.I'll gladly admit that I'm a master at making grammer mistakes and you are a master at
finding/fixing them.
finding/fixing them.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
DG, please, remember to use a space after periods and comas. Is that so hard to remember? Use a space before you use a parenthasese (I know that one's spelled wrong) and a period after it when you're done with a sentence. Your second sentence was a run-on. Could someone correct that? I'm going to bed soon. One last thing; DG, it did not appear that you looked over that post at all. Proper grammar isn't that hard, you know.

Silver, I love this quote so much. *hugs*Silver wrote:Heso! Ok, DG... If you're going to act like that, you could be the first exception to the Theory of Pebble Version... If you prevent it from becoming a scientific law, I am not going to be happy.
On that note, my grammar sucked when I first came to PV. Look at me now~

Wow, It's been ages since I've posted here. As in, in this thread, and I see that lots of stuff has been happening.
I've met online friends before, it is much fun. Quiet a few actually, not as many recently but about 7 years ago or so I (Along with my older sister and mother) was on the Anne McCaffrey forums (Author of the Pern series). There was this thing we had called a 'Gather', pretty much we arranged a date, place and time and met up for lunch. We went to Sizzeler once, stayed there for 4 hours and then got kicked out because they needed the tables. ^_^ That was much fun.
And yes grammar... And spelling... *Hides under blankie*...
Kaida has a bad habit of changing words deliberately. Eg, Blanket to Blankie, Confused to Confuzzeled, Adorable to Adorabibble.

Hi! You don't always need a space after an elipse...I think. Depends how they're used...
Anyway, I got back from LA without any trouble. Full report on the rest of E3 coming in Monday's PV update. Hopefully by the end of Monday or Tuesday I'll be more or less caught up on my school work and things will be back to normal. As for the forums, I'll catch up on RP posts and Portal Panic in the afternoon. *Yawns* Man this was a busy day...

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hullo.
Last day of MCAS was yesterday. Whoo!
After skool, went over my boyfriend's house to help him and his mom set up for his sister's graduation party. He and I were asssigned to use a hose to clean a table. Guess what happened. Water fiiiiight! T'was fun.
We also had to set up a vollyball/badminton net. Took FOREVER, even with his mom's help. Then we had dinner, and went back out to play badminton. They didn't have boundry markings, so we kinda guestimated. All I remebered about the scoring rules for badminton is that you could only score when you were the one who was serving. Apparently, in men's badminton you play until 15, and in woman's it's 'til 11. Well, we played 3 games 'til 21. I won the first, he won the second, and the 3rd lasted FOREVER (it was 1-0 for at least 10 serves... and that pattern continued a few times, though not quite as long), but he ended up winning. Darn. T'was fun, though,

Ohayou (5:30 AM, the sky's getting bright--or at least more blue-gray--so that counts as morning for me).
Already joined. :3
Started drawing him, too. Didn't realize I could make him any more like a girl than he already is, but apparently I was wrong.
Badminton?! OMG that's the one sport I'll ever say I'm good at. Although given how I haven't played it since...maybe sophomore year, I've probably lost the hang of it.
I did love it though...Maybe this summer I'll tag along with my dad and play some again. I rather miss it.

I love badminton! I'm terrible at it, but I love it!
Hanging out with friends tomorrow, woo! Who'd ever think that spending a month just with your family and some video games would become excruciatingly boring after a while? (/sarcasm)
