Shauni began to think very quickly
"if we go of the last battles, then the spikes are some how powering it up, covering the runes in the last shrine weakend the monster, and destrying the crystal defeted the bat....but spikes of sold rock???"
Jeff grinned "maybe its not as complicated as you think"
He ran out of the barrior and fired a beast king at the spikes, and darted quickly back under the barrior, the spikes began to fall and rain down on them, the barror protecting them, but the spikes began to srike the monste guardian, knocking it six ways sunday
"Thats it! Everyone! Attack the spikes!"

"Perfect Storm, use Air Cutter on the spikes." The attack hit more spikes on the celling (sp?) and again the barrior protected them and the monster guardian was taking heavy damage from them.

Shauni began to worry
"Ok...as well as this is going we need to speed it up a little! For josiah!"
With all the strengh she could muster, Shauni cast a haste spell on every active monster, sh then cast it on hrself and Jeff
She and Jeff ran out from the boubble
"You guys finsih him of, Jeff, me and my monsters will destry the shrine! when you hear the bang, run what ever happens!"
The other noded and let of the attck for a moment, as the bird was still confused, Jeff and Shauni ran as fast as they could towards the dark shrine, the bird tured to follow them, but the others quickly began there attacks again and the bird resummed its winching

"Ok. Use Storm to End all Storms!" Perfect Storm moved out from the barrior and first struck the creater with thunder attacks. Then soon the wind it was creating got stronger and air cutter was throw into the mix. Then soon it was ingulfed in a furry of wind, thunder, hail and a mix of other weather attack thrown into one. After it was over the creatre was still standing but was weaker then before.

Shauni and Jeff finaly came appon the dark shrine deep with the complet, they held hands for a moment, kissed and began there assult ont eh shrine

After a few moments the other could hear a huge explosion, and smoke came almost flowing out of the bottum of the shrine, Shauni and Jeff hasting towards them
"RUN FOR IT!!!"
Everyone left there battle and headed towards the exit, the bird bigan to follow them but was crushed by a huge peace of falling rock covered in spikes, killing it instanly, the others ran as fast as the could, and they evently made it out before the whole thing collpaed

Everyone fell to the floor to rest but shauni began to yell at them "Guy! keep moving, we gotta go back to Josiah in case this didnt work!"

*Meanwhile Ultima Rainbow continued to battle with Manja. While his attacks were doing some damage, he had a nasty feeling that the god monster could keep things up much longer than he could. Then he saw an explosion in the distance as the surrounding area began to transform. The others had done it! Now he just had to hope that it effected Manja the way he thought it would.*

Manja began to winch and sqaurm in mid air, suddnly the dark heart creature the lord had sent was thust out of its body and almost fizzeled away into a spark
Maja then passed out and began to plumit towards the burning ground, Josiah moved out of its way and it hit the ground with ahuge thud
Moments later the others arrived, exausted, as was Josiah

The fire that Manja had started was put out as the wave of light ran over it and the area retured to how it normaly was, minus the trees that Manja had cleared, the others saw the beast on the ground, bleeding heavly and growning, it was still alive, but the question was....was it good or evil?

*The monster managed to pull itself to its feet, and looked at the group for a minute...*

"...Does anyone else think it would be a good idea to run, ya know, just incase?"

"No, we have to see if it worked..."

*Manja started to walk away, looking back on the group occasionally, just to see if they were still there*

"Ya know, he's kinda cute when he's not throwing ginat fireballs at you..."

"Right. Well, onto the next shrine?"

"Wait... shouldn't someone try to catch it or something?"

"I dunno..."

"I bagsie the god!"
Silver fronwed "No fair! We all fought it! And you already have 3 nova monsters!"
Shauni thought for a mone t at looked at silver, just as it looked like she was going ro say something she darted of on Pyrococo after it
"HAY! GET BACK HERE!!!"

"Hum, heck." Neo Jumped on Ice Bird and flew off after Manja. He was quickly closing in on Shauni. Neo pulled out his last empty card and preparied to toss it.

*Silver came up on Toshi and blocked Neo's card* "This one's MINE!"
*Silver threw the card at Manja, and watched in amazement as it was successfully captured* "Holy crap, it worked?! I caught it?!?!"

"Curses!"

"But catching it was my idea!"

"He did call it cute..."

"Besides, there are two more!"

"I forgot about them! Chances are they'll be paying us a visit in the near future..."

((Pokchu's right.)) ((Ooh, we're catching god monsters now? I want one! Oh yes, Silver, how about devolving Manja to nova level since you caught it. As as god monster (above nova) its just too powerful for us to use.))

They quickly set up a half arsed camp and within a few moments every was snoring fast asleep, except shauni who was looking at silver as he slept. he has the god card in his hand (still a god card at this point)

A weird sensation welled up within her
"Unisha" she spoke entranced as she pulled the card from silvers hand without waking him

She pockted it and quickly disapered away from the group into the darkness

Her eyes alight in the blackness

She ran and ran and ran until she came apon a cave deep within the forest. A dark cloaked figure emerged from the cave, and extended its hand.
she placed the god card in his hand and then collpased like a puppet a child had finsihed playing with

The figure uncloaked itself, it was Rustie, Silvers shadow of souls
His eyes bured with delight at the sight of the card. he did something to it using magic and threw the card back at shauni. When it landed, the card had been reduced to nova level

Rusties hand glowed brighty with the stolen power of the card. With a huge smerk, he re-enetered the cave
"Master will like this...."

Shauni awoke a few hours later, with no memory of what Ruste had made her do, but she was still at the cave entrance with the card
She looked aroud confused for a moment and began to yell for the others....

"Did it occur to you that some people are trying to sleep?"

"Just say it so we can go back to sleep..."

"Great, now go back to... MANJA?! As in, the god monster?! That I should have caught?"
