Hi! You know, I was sure I got on here this morning but apparently I didn't. Maybe I need more sleep... -.-

The bots that show up in the member list at the bottom of the forums are programs used by search engines in order to keep their databases up to date. So yeah, they're harmless, and useful too. Though I doubt many people come to these forums via web searches.

So I was gonna go out with a friend tonight, but someone stole his credit card number so he had to cancel the card and he doesn't have any cash so we had to put it off. And that's why, no matter how convenient credit cards are, you should always keep some cash handy. Never know when you won't be able to use your card.

Hey.

Felt sick yesterday, but I got to bed early last night and am feeling much better today. :)

Well...yesterday was our last softball game :(. Yeah......our season kinda sucked wins-wise. It was fun, though. I got to play catcher a lot, which made me a very happy soul.

Our coach is trying to schedule a game against the JV in the near future, which would be really fun. :)

Off to skool. Ta.

Hi! You know, while I'm not crazy about game download services (I'd much rather have a real disc), I gotta admit that Steam is very nicely done and has good prices. Plus, there's got some good things you can't buy on discs. I don't use it a lot but I'm starting to appreciate it more. Originally got it just because Half Life was on sale for 99 cents and I figured that it's something I probably should play eventually for reference if nothing else (not a big FPS fan). Then I got Braid on it (since I don't have a 360). Today I got Plants vs. Zombies, which I originally wasn't going to buy until I found out that Steam had it for half the price that Popcap was selling it for. And, while I was at it, I noticed that they had a collection of most of the old Commander Keen games, which I used to play as a kid back in the DOS / Windows 3.11 days for $5, so I grabbed that as well. So yeah, Steam isn't bad. Though I still prefer discs (and game consoles to PCs for most games).

Hey.

Uhm.....I'm feeling really confused right now.

I never thought it was possible, but I think I might have a crush on my best friend. And I think he might like me back--t-that is, if I actually have a crush on him....which...

Augh. Life is weird. It's probably just post-sickness weirdness.....probably....

In other news: Science project. BLARG.

Wut the HECK is Superfluidity, superconductivity, Bose-Einstein Condenstates and triple point? ANYONE? AYUDA ME!

Hey.

Heey...you know my last post?

Yeah, well, a conversation on gmail suddenly got awkward, one thing lead to another, and, whaddya know, I'm kinda sorta dating him now.

I don't get it either. I'm still in a state of shock.

Me! A relationship! THEY DON'T GO TOGETHER!

We've called it a "laid back" relationship. As in, we're not really gonna do anything really boyfriend/girlfriend-y (ack! I don't even consider myself a girlfriend), and we're not even really gonna talk about it to our friends. Just...kinda keep it to ourselves for the time being. I don't know! GAH!

It's REALLY CONFUSING ME, but at the same time it makes me incredibly happy. RAWRG.

Life. Is. Weird. It throws the strangest things your way.

My other friends would always tease us that the two of us were dating......and now look wut's happened.

That's why we won't tell them...we just wanna see how it works out for the time being. Blarg. It's not supposed to be a big deal...but...

DARN WEIRDO LIFE.

Meh. It's ok Saber. We've seen stranger things, and besides. We already have someone who say's he's asexual, but up and gets a girlfriend. Replaice the genders with the opposites and we have you.

Congrats on getting a kinda-sorta-boyfriend!

Fight it! Fight it! FIGHT IT! You're so young... Not you too, Saber... That's exactly what happened to me... it's brutal... I tried to deny it. I tried to escape it. I didn't want to be trapped. I thought, "Well, it's not like she likes me back anyway, we're just friends," and everything was fine that way and my Nee-chan was my Nee-chan and there would be no incest NO INCEST and I would keep my achievement and stay out of it and forever be like a little kid and not have to deal with drama and not risk loosing a friendship and
I'm talking to her right now and
my God it's amazing and
I wish I'd asked her sooner.

God, but you're lucky yours wasn't dating someone else when you had your awkward conversation... Only to tell you later they'd liked you all along and were only with the other person to be nice...

Well, have fun, my Apprentice. Following my example... but correcting my mistake by not avoiding it for so long... God, if I had said something before that other person got involved.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Yeah, Braixlord and I are only freinds, but everyone at school thinks we're dating. I've even told him that I considered him a little brother.and he's okay with it.

Hey.

Yeah, Silver, that sounds kinda similar to what happend to me. I kinda started to have a crush on him a couple months ago, but I was all "Nononono, I don't--I can't have a crush on him. We're friends! A-and anyways, I know he like someone else...." Well, after a bit he didn't like her anymore, and then yesterday's conversation happened and I am STILL dreadfully confused/shocked/bewildered.

I'm...well, still just so confused and trying to sort everything out. I wanna talk to him alone face-to-face, but he has Ultimate every day after skool for the remainder of the week, then an Ultimate tournament on Saturday (and I'll be away at my cousin's graduation party anyways). It's looking like the next chance we'll get to talk alone (other than for like 1 minute in the hall) is Monday. >.<

Well, on a less cheezy and totally bizzare note, anyone know what superfluidity, Bose-Einstein Condenstates and triple point are, and would expalin them to me in words that don't make my brain ker-splode?

Hi! I'm making bread today! It's about time too, I'm been putting it off for the past week and a half. But I finally have a most free day (well, free as in hanging around my apartment doing homework) so no more excuses. Maybe I'll post a picture later.

FYI for Cheez: The thing with programs like Steam is that leaving them running in the background all the time on your computer is generally a bad idea and fairly pointless (even though they want you to). While there are exceptions, I'd usually recommend going into the settings right from the start and telling it only to start running when you specifically tell it to.

Y'know, they say (and it's very true) that the best relationships start as friendships :3 First girlfriend or not, I'm sure Silver can agree with this too from this sounds of it.
So the new Terminator movie comes out this week! I'm really excited for it, I love this series!

Today is a good day.

For SCIENCE!

Breh-hem-hem.

Superfluidity is a weird little state that currently I think only liquid helium is known to take. Basically, the stuff's gotta be cooled way down (like... what is it... ah, -455.75 degrees F, pretty close to absolute zero), and it can move around like it was frictionless, to the point of going up stuff without any real trouble.

Bose-Einstein Condensates are liquids whose atoms have been supercooled and thus display odd little quirks, like randomly overflowing out of its container. See, the thing's been cooled down so much, it can't possibly lose any more energy. It literally has nothing left to give up. As such, things like friction, which would slow it down by taking energy, don't effect it. So. Bose-Einstein Condesates are the things being cooled, and superfluidity is an effect of it. With me?

Hokay. I'm a little more leery of triple point, but far as I can figure out, it's the temperature and pressure at which a substance can coexist in three states, such as solid, liquid, and gas (but not necessarily those three). They're balanced out, I guess? Thermodynamics isn't really my bag, so I guess that's the best I can explain it.

Allright, so there's a very, very basic rundown. I'd really suggest looking over it on yer own before handing in any work, because if I'm going to be honest, my info here is the result of a hobby rather than a profession. But hopefully you know what to look for a little more now.

Eheheh.... I, uh... kinda read up on quantum theory for fun sometimes. To each their own?
