Yep, Gold and Silver are being reborn, get this, Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Super corny names aside, G/S were great versions and, with a few tweaks, the remakes could make it possible to complete the entire pokédex with just the DS games. Good since the DSi lost the GBA slot (breaking the Pal Park), but I already have a complete dex anyway (minus Shamin and Arceus) so not too big a deal for me.
So yeah, the remakes are coming, they'll be cool and all, but I wish GameFreak would try something new for a change. Or at least record better pokémon cries.

Yeah, I heard about this a while ago, actually... glad to see it's now officially official. On account of G/S/C was the best series of games, well, ever.
And I don't see why you guys think I'm so easy to predict. Maybe I was going to do something unexpected, just for the sake of doing something unexpected? You never know. It's not like I'm automatically predestined... just because of my username...

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

While I can only get so worked up about yet another remake, I will admit that G/S upgraded to D/P's level of control, graphics, and sound, has the potential to be the best version of Pokémon out there. I'm just hoping that they'll reopen some of the R/B areas that get removed from the original G/S (power plant, mewtwo's cave, seafoam islands, etc).

Bout time. Was hoping they would do this :)
I do think that they'll keep how they did with the orginals but Chaos thinks that they'll add the islands from LG/FR into the mix :)

Wow, I'm glad we get the remake but a new game wouldn't go a miss as well....you know, with a new story and everything. How many months are we going to have to wait for this?
