I don't care if this is a double post I'm sick of people at the restaraunt doing it.

They sit and they sit not eating anything not drinking anything, just TALKING. So I wait around for them, I try and find any littel job I can do while watining for them to leace so I can clear the glasses and reset the table.

In fact I wait so long that I give up and ask Mario if there's anything else to do. He says I can go home so I go and sign off... then what do the people do?

THEY GET UP AND WALK OUT OF THE RESTARAUNT JUST AS I SIGN OUT!

So while waiting for Mum to come and pick me up I rush around and reset the table and stuff. I don't get paid for that work, I just feel compelled to do it.

I MEAN LEAVE EARLIER PEOPLE! DON'T WAIT FOR ME TO SIGN OFF! Or at least if you're sitting there spend some damn money BUY SOME DRINKS, do SOMETHING that will give me something to do other than stand there and wait!!!

Some of us have LIVES to get back to!!

Out of curiousity Poik, what does emancipated mean? The word sounds familiar but I can't recall it for the life of me. Also, you're quite right, up here in Canada too the police couldn't care less if something's going on as long as it's not physical. Doesn't leave many with respect for the cops who go through it.

I had similar things happen when I worked in EB Games too, I swear I would have more people coming in in the last 15 minutes before closing than we would in the rest of the day. Most days it was just a bit annoying having to stay the extra 10 minutes or so helping out the customers, but one day I had a dentist appointment to go to so I tried shooing some customers out 5 minutes after we closed and after they admitted they were only looking, and they started freaking out at me. Dang customers...

Emancipation is when a child leaves his or her parents and becomes independent. Usually this is because they were abused. It can be condoned by the parents or forced upon them by law.

I really don't like the idea, but some people think it's necessary.

Also, we've had people like that at KFC, but the worst customers by far are the ones who come after the lobby is closed. Such was the time that a taco came flying the drive through window and nearly hit the manager. I'm pretty sure they were drunk...

Never had anyone throw food at work (then again it's a restaraunt in a 3 1/2 star motel so there's a different kind of customer demographic to what you get in fast food places) but some of the people that sit around talking till fairly late have small children. That kind of annoys me for a couple of reasons.

Sometimes the kids get restless and start playing noisily. I mean I don't mind some of the toddlers running around a bit. (There was one who was just so amazingly adorable and he got taken into the kitchen to meet the chefs and stuff like that) but somtimes it's liek they're trying to tell the parents "I'M BORED!" but they're too busy talking to their friends and sipping their wine to take any notice. And one night there was a boy playing with a toy car and making really REALLY loud car noises in an annoying monotone, then his little criend decided to join in and I had a serious headache before they even started.

Then there's the ones where the kids start looking tired, sometimes they get irritable and heck, we've even had a couple go and sit on the couches in the sort of lobby area (or whatever you'd call it- it's visible form the resteraunt and in front of the bar so there's supervision anyway) and they just crash out and go to sleep. I mean if your kids about 2 or 3 years old you don't stay out at a restaraunt till 9, 10 or 11 o'clock at night. I mean I'm not a parent and probably won't be for many years but from having 3 younger siblings which I've helped Mum and Dad look after most my life I do know that there are certain responsibilities when you have a child. Getting them to bed at a decent hour is one of them.

It's not throwing food or anything as icky to clean up as that, but it annoys me to see people not taking much care of thier kids.

I'm so confused about relationships, and why people are caring who I like and what I do. Me and my friend Lauren go skiing, Lauren breaks her arm, and everybody knows (and seems to care) that I had invited her to try skiing. I talk to my friend Julianne alot, but for whatever reason people seem to think that we are either dating or love each other. I can talk to girls who are my friends, and laugh with them. It's not like I should be hating every visit to the gym locker room just because some kids decide that I should 'go out' with Julianne. No, I do not want you to 'introduce' me to Julianne. Julianne is cool cause she can totally pick up what's happening here, and just laugh about it.

I'm not really in love or anything right now, and I don't want to be in a relationship that's more than friends who talk to each other. I wish people could understand that and mind their own business...

Oh, and Lauren is getting out of her cast soon! Yay~

Cheese, I know how you feel. See people at my school think I should date Braixlord and that he should date me. They even ask if we are dating to annoy us. It's gotten to the point that if we are asked that at the same moment we both say no at the same time or we avoid them before they ask that question. I think it's part of having friends of the opposite gender of you or something.

Ya, same here. People keep asking me and a girl who I hang out with if we're going out. We either say no or just ignore them. It dosn't mean I don't want to go out with her, just not yet.

I'm afraid cheez that that kind of think will follow you everywhere, and if not you specifically chances are you'll know someone whose in a similar situation. It get's easier once you finish school, although the worst point would be when your a teenager.
I've been in multiple similar situations, except in one of the schools I went to it was pretty much "I'm a lesbian and going out with one of my friends." *Is not a lesbian* I even had people I didn't know spreading rumors about me.
I have come to the conclusion,that this his is because people love to gossip and make up stories to amuse themselves for a short period of time. After awhile they generally move onto another person, although it tends to stay on you for a while if you react to it. This is also one of the reasons I hated going to school.

Best advice I could give you is, ignore it. They'll get bored of it quicker that way.

I was trying to use my laptop to bridge my xbox 360 for wireless internet, instead I managed to mess up my laptop and have it stop working. I had to uninstall Norton anti virus cos it was stopping me from doing a system restore, but even that didn't fix the problem. I looked into it and the problem had something to do with my IP addressing being in conflict so it could not access my wireless network. I spent two frustrating hours to have a worse of laptop than when I started.

I brought it into work this morning and my friend fix it in 10 mins...all he had to do was change my ip address from static to automatic...I still have to make sure it works at home and reinstall Norton, but I think I should be okay...

I feel bad for shouting at my Dad last night while I was upset, but he was annoying me on purpose.

Story of my life.

Seriously. My best friends are guys. I really didn't have any girl close friends until last year. They used to ask if I was going out with my friend Chris (or if we were brother and sister ), now it's my friend Robert. And it's also mainly my friends who do it now, though. Apparently, we're secretly in love with each other. :P

Well, they've kinda stopped for the most part now since he has a girlfriend, but even so they still tease a bit. Eh. I really don't mind.
