"Good point. We reached Amhal's castle pretty far into the game last time around."

"Do you think he'll come back if we restore that area?"

"Well, we never did find him after the Zodiac Legends attacked, just that imposter..."

"This sucks, we'll be walking for days."

"Silver's got a point. This would go faster if we flew."

"Wow! I made a point!"

"Sounds good to me."

"That wouldn't be a bad idea but we'll need to be careful once we leave this area behind. Who knows what kind of flying monsters might hang out in the dark world areas?"

Neo summoned Ice Bird and the others brought out thier creatures of flight and soon they were all in the air, keeping an ever watchfull eye out for trouble for it had it's ways of showing up for the group. Who knows what may show up.

Shauni monted Pirococo, who was the largest of all the flyers, Jeff joined her on the griffen took of into the air after Neo and josiah, they flew towards the opressive darkness that lay ahead of them.

Shauni took one last look back at the light area they left with relef, her dreams where sometimes just that...dreams..

((Time for a fancy ariel battle so remember, flying monsters only and try not to get knocked off yours. :D ))

*The group sped quickly through the air, flying towards the next village and the next shrine.*

*Josiah and Virgo rode together on Midnight Wing.* "So, what are you going to do once we're finished saving the world again?"

"Me?" *Virgo looked surprised by the question.* "I never really thought about it. I mean, I'm a Zodiac, I've been fighting since I was created. I guess I'll do doing whatever you do. Afterall, you are my owner."

"Don't talk like that. You're more than just another monster. If you ever want to leave I won't stop you."

"Thanks." *She smiled.* "But I don't care about freedom. I'd rather stay with you."

*Josiah smiled back and was about to reply when an earsplitting shriek rent the air.*

"Incoming!" *Silver yelled as a large winged monster bared down on the ground.*

"It's huge!" *Neo gaped at the angry looking monster.* "What the heck is that thing?"

"Oh no..." *Jeff's eyes widened.* "It must have been currupted by the Dark World."

"What is it?"

"That," *Josiah replied grimly,* "is Manja, one of the three god monsters."

Manja was a huge dragon type beast with six wings spaning from his neck ((You never disribed it, so I did :P . hope thats ok!)), his tail was long and slender with 4 huge spikes in the back, and its teeth so long they extended from its mouth
The monster quickly flew into the air, it was even bigger than the bat they had just faced
Shauni's eyes widened as the dragon headed straight for the group, its eyes burning with red fire
"Why is iot attacking us?!?!"
Its mouth opened and fire began to emerge into its mouth as if powering up and almight fireball
"No time to think about that! Everyone srambble!"
The monster fired the huge ball of fire at everyone, some of the group getting singed because they berly made it way in time
"Thast a god level monster! weve never actualy defeted one of them?!?!!! we got lucky last time!"
The dragon came around again, the blades on its tail extened as if they where claws
"Watch out!"
The dragon came back threw again, disburing the groups formation, it began to chase Josiah and Virog as they desportly tryed to fly out of its path
"Pyrococo! Do something! use hyper Flame!"
Pyrococo freated a wall of fire and then a beam of light that disperts it, the flames ingulded Manja but it did no damge, mearly giving Josaih time to menover Midnight wing out of its line of sight

The dragon tured around, it now had Pyrococo in its sights.....

((BTW, can someone pin ROM one and two so new forum members can read em, and so i can direct ROM readers to this forum without direct links to the sporate ROMs?))

"Sure, use fire attacks why don't you? I hate fireballs being thrown at me" said Neo under his breath. He'd been having abit of troubble with the recent monster attacks. He seemd for the most part, to have a bit of a type disadvantage or have something weak aginst it's attacks. To his luck, this wasn't one of the cases."Well, Ice Bird use Sheer Cold." Ice Bird glared at Manja and soon it was incased in solid ice. But that didn't last long as it soon broke free it turned it's sights towards Neo and Ice Bird and begain to give chase. "Use Ice Flow." Soon what looked like flowing ice was comming from behind Ice Bird and stricking Manja but it didn't seem to slow down much.

((Ok, I pinned them. Don't have time to post right now though. -_- Oh, and Neo, we've got a rather weird strength and weakness setup in ROM. Take a look.

fire > water
water > ground
ground > electric
electric > ice
ice > light
light > dark
dark > metal
metal > wind
wind > fire

Special Dark World Elements:
Rainbow (no strengths or weaknesses)
Zombie (weak against light and fire, can regenerate)
Shadow (no strengths, immune to ground, metal, wind, ice, and water)
Mutation (always has a secondary element, learns unusual moves)
Code (extremely weak, can manipulate game coding)

In other words, ice is weak against electric, not fire. Yeah that makes no sense but I didn't come up with this, I just did the new types.))

Pirococo manged to avoid the monster but it would take some hell of an attack to destry that thing...

((What's with the mutant Pidgeotto Turkey?! HOW DARE YOU OFFEND THE PRE-EVOLVED FORM OF TEH BEST POKEMON EVER BY MIXING IT WITH A STUPID TURKEY!!! Ok, er, sorry... and we should SERIOUSLY consider changing the type lineup. Minum must not have been paying attention or something. I mean, fire strong to water? That makes no sense at all! The only time that would make sense id if you're drunk or high and... *Looks at Minum* I wonder...))

"Let's try, uh... Nova Flame!" *Toshi sent the extremely powerful fire atack at the Dragon, burning a few scales off its back, but otherwise unaffecting it.* "There's only one thing left to do now... RETREAT!!!"

Neo heard the word retreat. Problem is he didn't know really how too with this god monster in his tail. Neo decided to head for the trees and see if he could loose it in the forest. Neo dove for the forest with the thing following him, allowing the others to escape. After some time of circling the skys above the trees Manja gave up as it couldn't get in. Now Neo didn't know what to do. It didn't take long before Neo heard something behind him.

He turned around and right infrount of him stood a figure that almost resembled himself. "What, what, who are you?"

"Well, my name is Zanther and I..."

"Hey, that's the name I use on the net!"

"..."

"That's besides the point. I've come here to test you in battle."

"Are you one of those Shadow of Soul people?"

"Perhaps."

"Well if that's what you want then fine. Go Storm Furry!" Storm Furry was released from it's card.

"Not what I had in mind. Time to fix that. Go Requza. Data Distortion." The little green creatre from before shows up and engulfed Storm Furry into a cloud of darnkess.

"What did you just do?"

"Simple. I'm making an adjustment. This attack has a 2% chance of altering a monster, 3% of keeping them the same and the other 95%, well lets say you'll be short one monster." Said Zanther with an evil grin.

"You $#%^#@!" said Neo. "Weird, that was bleeped out.

"I was more in the mood for weapon fighting."

"Your on." said Neo.

Both dug out their almost identical weapons and charged at each other with incredible speed. Both countering the others moves. It looked almost like DBZ fighting. It looked like they were even but that was not the case. Zanther had the slight lead.

Soon they jumped away from eachother. "Is that all you go?" said Zanther.

"What you mean? I say we were even."

"Humph. If you think that was my full strenght you are saidly mistaken. And for your mistake, you will die."

"Wait, don't I get a say in this?"

But before Neo could respond much more Zanther rushed towards Neo with a faster speed then before. Neo didn't have time to respond. But this wouldn't be the place of his end. When Neo opened his eyes he was standing infrount of David. "You know, that was not the brighest thing you could of done. You almost got yourself killed."

"Um, sorry?" said Neo.

"Well, lets get back to the group."
