Hi! It's time for another day of sitting in my computer doing school work...all day long...except when I have class...and anime club (ok, so I get one break).

I heard of Slumdog Millionaire before the Oscars (seeing as I've heard of it but totally ignored the Oscars). But I'm in Phoenix and Phoenix is huge so it gets pretty much every movie that has a US release.

Hah, I remember that quote, Mandi. It was one of the only things I did remember. It was Steve Martin and Tina Fey.

Guess what? I was in New York today! I was looking at this college that has classes for people still in high school. Not for credit or anything, just to get experience. It was so cool, but I think if I went there I'd have to end up commuting rather than get a place on campus.

Really? No offence, but I thought you were younger then that. Oh well. I'm currently looking at going UT Martin or Knoxville.

None taken Gar, cause well, you're right. :-P

I'm in high school, but I'm not a senior. This college has Saturday classes for highschoolers to take, so they can get a feel for the work field. What I meant by the commute was if I actually decided to go there when I am old enough to enroll in college. Sorry for the misconception.

No, I get that part. I thought you were a senior looking at colleges. But if you're looking at some right now, then you should be a junior, maybe a sophmore. I'm a junior right now, But I've already picked out to potential colleges, but I might just change my decision if I fiind another college that has a good pre-med program and a marching band.

Hey.

FRESHMAN ALL ZE WAY!

I'm a li'l person. Well, akshully, me buddy is a li'l person. Sooo many short jokes against her. It's funny 'cos she gets all mad, but she's not really mad 'cos she knows we're friends and just teasing her. It's like a funny mad.

Oh, and UMASS Amherst has an AWESOME marching band! We got to see it at band finals. They were sooo amazing!

But, UTENN Knoxville is all awesome and stuff 'cos they host DI Global Finals. I got to go there last year for Globals (which was one of the most AMAZING EXPERIENCES EVER). If we get to go again this year (which, at this rate is highly unlikely), I will be so excited. It was sooooooooooo amazing, it cannot be expressed in words. Man, I just loved it so much there. One of my dreams is to place first at global finals. To run down to that stage and take the trophy while people from all over the world (but mainly Massachusetts, of course) cheer for US would be incredible. To know that you, you there, won in a GLOBAL tournament. That, in your division in the tournament, that you were THE BEST IN THE WORLD would be amazing.

Eh...sorry. Got carried away there. Yeah, I'm glad I have lotsa time 'til college. I has really no idea what to do with my life.

Ooh, today I went to a place to talk about softball. Yayz! Tryouts are coming up in a few weeks. Today, they basically had us write our names, e-mail, cell #, position and grade. Lotsa 9th graders there...*gulp*. Me hopes I makes the freshman team. My friend is telling me to go out for JV....I might, but that also means less playing time. I like playing time. And there's a good chance I wouldn't make it either. A very good chance. Heck, I'm worried about making freshman with all of these people trying out...

So do you think you'd go to UT Knox when after you graduate, Saber? Probably not because it's so far away from Massachusetts, but there's always a possibility.

Hi! Just another day of homework for me. On the bright side though, my E3 application went through! Unfortunately, they decided that students don't quality for free or discounted passes anymore, but my qualifications are good enough that I was still able to buy a pass. So, as long as nothing big comes up, I'm going to E3 this summer!

Hope you do good at the science fair, Aura.

Even though today was Ash Wednesday, I didn't see a lot of people with the ashes, there was just two sisters. Did anyone here get the ashes on their forehead? I didn't, but then again my family's never been very religious.

Happy Ash Wednesday everyone! Today is the first day of Lent, so that means that we Roman Catholics can have no red meat today and on fridays. We also have to give something up, weather it's a bad habit or something material, so we can gain something moraly. I've given up TV Tropes. It's really addicting. Really.

Heso! Good luck with that one, Gar... staying off TV Tropes for 40 days. Hah! You've still got the Overlord List in your signature.

I didn't notice anyone with ashes today, either, but I never really pay attention to that sort of thing. I'm not exactly Catholic, but I do participate in Lent... I give up Lent for Lent every year.

Hmm... kind of funny, then, that by sheer coincidence I gave up my achievement on the same day... and my pride... but I don't get those back after 40 days...
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

I've got an easy solution for that one. I'll just remove the links.

I didn't really notice anyone with ash on their forehead today. I'm one of the few people in who are catholic in my school. I'm pretty sure no other denominations celebrate Lent and Ash Wednesday. Right?

Also, my english class was discussing kosher pickles for some reason. Really, how can pickles be kosher? I thought that there were only restrictions on animal meat.

Yo.

The only reason I think UT Knox is cool is 'cos it hosts DI Global Finals. :P I don't know anything about it beyond that, sooooooo.....

B'sides, I still has no idea what I'm going to do with my life. Oh, I have plenty of ideas to become fabulously wealthy, but I'll need a "normal job" in case those "epically fail". Pshaw. As if time traveling to the future so that I can get a time machine so that I can time travel to the future wouldn't work. It's foolproof!

Yeeaah....Lent isn't a very big deal for me. My friend was all "ZOMG! ASH WEDNESDAY! CHURCH SERVICE!" and I was all "Er....I'm just gonna chill today." and then he was all "U ATE MEAT!" and I was all "...my bad?".

Even as far as Protistants go, we (our church in general) are pretty liberal. I don't do anything for Ash Wednesday. Though, I do go to church and youth group on a regular basis. That counts for something. Better than plenty of other people can say.

Meh. It's ok Saber. Some Roman Catholics can be all like "LISTEN TO US WE'RE RIGHT YOU'RE WRONG AIR OF TRUTH FOLLOW US YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG YOU'RE GOING TO HELL MRAW!!!!!1!!!111!"
Well...maybe I exadurated on the going to hell part. Aside from that one instance where I said that, I'm not like that. Most arn't acctually, just the priests(your pastures/minister). Even then, it's just mildly. The one thing that does confuse me is why people go to church on wednseday. I don't mean this wednseday, I mean every wednseday. Isn't Sunday our holy day? I've only heard of this occurance this year.
