At school it's a new term and new classes... I get math and english back-to-back. Yay...

I just realized that my compy's spellchecker doesn't think that "english" is a word. This confuses and frightens me.

Also NabMaster, what's your Steam account name again? I forgot to add you to my friends list when you stated it and now I can't find it...
It's Retsam_NAB, and the only game I have on it is the Warhammer: Dawn of War 2 beta  I was extremely excited to find out that Starcraft 2 is coming out *coughs* "soon," but now that I've seen DoW2, I'm not even sure I'll bother buying SC2 for a while! Games Workshop and Relic are really showing they know how to make great video games!

Cha!

You can get a 14 day trail of Guild Wars for £1.99 from Game Station here in the UK. There pushing it because of the resent expansion going to half price. I don't know what other deals are going in other countrys, but it might be worth a look. It's a one off payment then a free online subcription forever.

Also, Josiah, can't wait to play!

I want to type something here but I've got nothing to say... I have nobody to talk to and I'm suffering from an attack of the sad. It will pass momentarily.

I need to sleep.

Hi! This next month or so is going to be interesting... My project management class is kicking into high gear and I'm starting to write my actual thesis (why I need three semesters of thesis classes when I have to write most of it this semester, I'm not sure) and have the lit review (the longest and most work intensive part for my subject) done by early March. And it's not just school. My dad is coming down to visit and go to baseball games for a few weeks so I'll be doing some stuff with him, I need to slowly start getting ready for mid March when I'm moving to the apartment right below mine (close, but still a good day or two or work involved in the moving, address switching, and all that), and I've got a bunch of stuff happening on weekends (concert this Sunday, Japanese festival two weeks later, and I'm hoping to go to the Renissance Festival on Presidents Day inbetween those two). I was thinking of entering the Japanese speech contest too but, with everything else that's going on, I don't think I'll have time to write and translate a long enough speech.

Hey.

First day of the new semester today. So far, looks like it won't be too bad. I'm glad to get out of enviornmental science and into physical science, mainly 'cos I had an awful E-Sci teacher and the physical science looks to be much better. I have a good World Civ teacher, and Spanish comes easily to me. Then, finally, I've got band and Project Challenge (the fancy word for Freshman Gym class). Band is always fun, not to mention my friend has the same lunch as me this semester and he's coming to eat in the band room with me an' my other band buddies. and Gym shouldn't be too bad, especially since we get to use a ropes course later on in the year.

Plus, tonight my only homework was to sign a few class contracts. Whoo.

Oh, and me and Tango just split the cost for a new video camera. Gonna have fun with that. :)

Siranae is happy today
I had to type that 'cause it rhymed. Kind of.

I'm happy today because IT'S SNOWING! And sticking!

What makes it even better is that Swimming is cancelled!

Yeah, Shauni, driving in the snow must be a pain, and not always because of the snow itself. Kids were throwing snowballs at our car in a busy intersection. For some reason, my brother rolled down the window, so snowballs passed by him and hit my sister, who was driving. Nothing bad happened, though.

I'm very pleased with the results of my chemistry lab! I have chem labs on friday, and last week's lab involved leaving our chemicals to dry over the weekend for the most precise measurements. We were testing melting points and yields and other fun stuff, and anything over 60% yield is good, considering this is the first time anyone in my class has done this. My batch of the stuff was 82.6% pure - I kicked butt! ;-D

Luke, I lol'd and Cheez, I always thought like.. "SI-ra-nay" (the i being like the sound in mirror... hopefully you pronounce the i in mirror the same way I do.. accents and all.. actually, I pronounce mirror similar to the sira part of siranae...with the 'or' on the end more of a.. like.. a... idk... I'm babbling. Anyway. OMG I have it how would you pronoiunce Sira? So it's easy. Siranae is Sira-nay. Aaaaand I'm still babbling.)

Isn't it obvious?

But then I could be wrong...

Hi! If you pronounce her name Japanese style (which, after years of Japanese study, is how I tend to sound out anything I'm not sure of) it would be see-rah-nah-eh.

Ugh... I'm kinda burnt out today. I got back late from anime club yesterday (had fun though) and still had to update PV afterwards. Then I had my nice early two hour Japanese class and now there's a whole bunch of boring school stuff to read and Japanese homework to do. All of which I really should get done today since I need to spend the next couple of days writing papers. -.-

Heso! I'd taken to pronouncing it the Japanese way... complete with 'shi' instead of 'si' in the beginning. But that's because I'm a nerd.

Speaking of nerds and Sira, the Anime Nation thing is this Friday. If you're able to come, I doubt you'll be able to miss me - I can say with complete confidence that I'll be the only one there cosplaying as Bolneze Pierrot. Just for the lulz.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Geh.

Stressing out a bit here.

Okay, for reffing hockey games, you need to return games you are assigned but can't make it to at least 48 hours before the game. I returned mine a few weeks ago. But, it still has me reffing the games on the schedule. I emailed the guy again, and nothing. I emailed to ask him a question about where the sticker should go on my helmet to show that I'm a ref, and he replied to THAT, but still nothing on the games! If those don't leave my schedule soon, I'll get in huge trouble! GAAAAH! I DUN WANNA GET IN TROUBLE! I'm new at this, reffing my first games this Saturday, and the ones I can't make are SUNDAY! I don't wanna mess up already! I'm freaking out so bad by now! GAAAH!

Konnichiwa.
I pronounce "Siranae" differently depending on when I read it. So far, it's been alternating randomly between "SIH-re-nay" and "SAI-re-nay." Haven't yet tried pronouncing it Japanese style, which is odd 'cause I usually start with that.
