Hi! Still hunting for sprites for Code Twilight!
Any suggestions on good places to look?

There are a few sprite databases and resources I think around the internet.. not sure if that's a help..

Note: I don't know how good the links are.. I just typed sprite into Google and it spat a couple of things out.

Spriter's Resource is a good site It doesn't have everything, and some sets aren't complete, but its something.

I think my parents, and one sister, are a little too into the Super Bowl. I mean, none of us even play it, or really watch it, but our house is now filled with party food and stuff.

I've just taken the laptop out for the first time today, and my dad's already telling me to put it away and put on a Super Bowl shirt (My older sis's friend brought a few over, she got them for free somewhere).

I'm really not interested in the game, but I'm psyched to see Bruce Springsteen in the halftime show.

Well, whatever. Destination Imagination was pretty awsome today. We had an awesome Instant Challenge for practice. I got to be a picnic table that came to life and attacked, then was squished by a whale. Yeah, our skit was pretty awesome.

When life gives you lemons... My band instructor did that, but it was a bag full of oranges, not lemons. He just randomly walked up to me while I was fundraising.

Better than the fact that we're winning is Dad's making bacon wrapped shrimp in barbecue sauce. It's snack and commercial night!

Ya, well, it's kind of too late. My lip's been bleeding. It probably didn't help that I was picking it before I left for rehersal. On the second day, I picked at something off my lip when I woke up. It was a scab. good thing it wasn't bleeding during the concert.

I bought Guild Wars yesterday. It's pretty good. I might play it for a while.

My character is a Ranger/ Monk called Shauni Moonflower.

Also, for the first time in over a year it is snowing here, decent snow that leaves enough for a snowball fight. Murder to drive in though

Yeah...it's kind of totally amazing. Especially since I have an AMAZING DI team, we get along so well, making everything super-awesome.

Our challenge is harder this year than it was last year, though. Or, at least in our group's opinion it is. Instead of sound designs, we have to create a technical device, which is much harder (for our group at least). And no Genghis Khan this year, only detectives.

Er...yeah...prolly doesn't make much sence. Here....here's the basic description of our challenge this year.


D: Private DI (look how clever they are...they integrate DI into challenge names whenever possible): Improvisational Acting, Story Development, Theater Arts, Technical Innovation, Teamwork (we excel at 'dat one)

Create a six-minute Improvisational Skit about the Origin of a randomly selected Superstition in a 30-minute timed period at the Tournament

Present the Skit using the styles of 3 different Film Genres randomly selected from a list of film genres the team has previously researched

Integrate a Sleuth, randomly selected from a list of historical and fictional detectives the team has previously rsearched, into the Skit

Create an Origin for the Superstition

Create a Superstition Origin Detectorthat physcially moves and contributes to solving the mystery of the Origin of the Superstition

Integrate a randomly selected Surprise (which we are given 1 minute before the skit begins)!


Um...yeah....still prolly doesn't make much sense, but, trust me, it's all awesome (and hard) and stuff. DI is for ages preschool-college (through there aren't many college teams, but we saw a few at Global Finals (which was totally the most awesome experience EVER)). Globalfinals.org is already counting down to the next one (and has been for a few months now).

Eh....went on for a bit there. Just love DI. It would be one of the coolest things ever to place first at Global Finals. To be able to run down to the stage and take that trophy as the Massachusetts section explodes with cheers (and the other sections also cheer) would just be incredible....hey, we placed 25th out of 82 places last time (there were more teams, bunch of ties (we tied three-way for 25th))

Now I'm just looking at the photos from Chorific! (our challenge last year) for the first time in a few months. Man, the other groups generally have costumes so much better than ours >.<. We kinda stunk at that bit...always forgot, then with like 30 seconds to go 'til skit time we'd be like "O SNAP! COSTUMES!" and throw on on some cloth. Actually, at States we didn't do to bad. I remember I (I played the mom) had an apron that we cut out from cloth, and at Regionals Simone Bolivar had a cape....

Aha! Someone's team name was DI of the Tigers! AHAHAHAHA! Sorry, it just made me laugh.

Gah! Bad Saber! Stop talking about the amazingness of DI!

Hmmm....maybe I should put up a pic of me and my DI team...but I'm still kinda paranoid about putting up pics of me...I should find a group pic with like 20 other people, that way you won't know which is me. But, that kinda defeats the purpose...

World of Warcraft is and will always be my favourite MMO. Although I honestly have never tried Guild Wars before. I would get it, but I'm saving my game money for Resident Evil 5. Maybe I should check to see if any of my friends own it...

At school it's a new term and new classes... I get math and english back-to-back. Yay...

I just realized that my compy's spellchecker doesn't think that "english" is a word. This confuses and frightens me.

Also NabMaster, what's your Steam account name again? I forgot to add you to my friends list when you stated it and now I can't find it...

Actually that pretty much all made sense to me. It's all kinda improvisation like the games we played in Drama at school or 'Whose Line is it Anyway' or something...
