Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! I should be able to finish Folklore today. Took a lot longer than I thought it would but it's been (mostly) fun. Other than that? Japanese homework. A whole bunch of Japanese homework.
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
So did anyone else notice that Dorkus is gone?
Oh, and this is a bit late, but we got a snowday today. Is happy.

Same here. Zoras actually cheered from his room, and I heard it from the living room.Gardialvoir wrote:

Wow, today seems to be snowday...day. It's stopped snowing by now, here. We didn't get as much snow as I hoped, but we got enough, I guess (Stop being so picky, we got quite a few inches. But the weatherdude said a foot at max. At max... Well, maybe the snow's an overachiever!).auragongal wrote:Same here. Well, still studying for me. Whoo.

Oh, that bomb drill wasn't yesterday, it was about a year ago.
Yeah, we have bomb drills like maybe twice a year. Last year we had a few actual threats, but none of them were real. Just some people writing threats in the bathroom. Because of this, for a while they had teachers stationed outside the bathrooms, and you'd have to sign in and out when using it! Over the summer they just decided to install cameras outside the bathroom doors.
Nice to hear some of you guys got off from school, I myself had a delayed opening, and got to sleep more
It's rain and fog now, but hey, it did its job.

We never have snowdays. As I told Saber, us Canucks can handle snow, eh?
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Ugh. I love my biology lab, but some of the people are just...ugh. We were checking out the respiratory and circulatory systems and one of the questions was about our blood pressure, so everyone got to use that pressure cuff that doctors use. I got my partners pressure no problem, took two minutes tops. Meanwhile, he had some serious issues getting my pressure and refused to lower the pressure until he found it. I actually had to take the thing out of his hands and loosen the pressure after a good five minutes because I literally couldn't feel my arm anymore. Rinse and repeat for a whole half an hour! Gah! My arm is still sort of tingly and definitely not the same tint as the left one.

Heso! Siranae... do you live in my town? That's exactly what happened here... delayed opening, then lots of rain so there's barely any snow left.
Although, we've never had particular problems with bomb threats.... here, bathrooms stay locked because people go in there to smoke. How someone could be so addicted to cigarettes that they feel the need to smoke during class is beyond me, but so is how someone could start smoking to begin with...

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Today in Ottawa it snowed ALL DAY. I had to shovel the driveway THREE TIMES. And now it's 7:15pm and dark outside and it's STILL SNOWING. *Hates life.*
Also, my school almost never has snow days because during winter it snows a LOT. Instead we have "freezing rain days" when the roads are too slippery for the buses to run, but the school itself is still open for some reason even though nearly everybody just stays home... I never quite figured those out.

Considering how I'm often the only other name listed when I check the forums, yep, I noticed.Gardialvoir wrote:So did anyone else notice that Dorkus is gone?
Konnichiwa. Didn't think I did so great on my math and chem midterms. Didn't finish either of them. >>
Freaking residual entropy.
I shall now go watch more One Piece 'cause I don't feel like reading up on ancient Greek drama.

Should I...oh whatever. /o/

Meh Siggy Site
And another one because they decreased the number of allotted pages on free sites

Ah yes, the "smoking bathrooms". We have a few bathrooms at our school, that people I know refer to as the "smoking bathrooms". You can usually smell the smoke just walking by, but sometimes you have to open the door. Frankly there are very few bathrooms I actually use, 'cos I'm scared I'll go into a smoking bathroom.Silver wrote:Heso! Siranae... do you live in my town? Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
I finished my exams yesterday and now I get four days with no school! *Happy dance.* The problem is that most of the time I have off will be spent shoveling snow... Friggin' mid-continental weather systems...

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! I think the thing with Dorkus is some kinda weird glitch caused by the forum upgrade. But I'm not quite sure how to stop it (short of killing his account, which I don't want to do) and it doesn't hurt anything, so I've left it alone.
So, who's watching the Superbowl on Sunday? I'm not sure if I am or not. As far as I know, none of my friends are doing anything and if there's going to be an anime club meeting I don't really want to skip it. Parties are fun though, even if I don't care about the game.
