School today, Saber? Wow, we're off today until January 5th. For the holiday.

Yeah, I hate how they bother with this stupid 2 day week.Cheezdude wrote:School today, Saber? Wow, we're off today until January 5th. For the holiday.
*sigh* I'm still going to have my math test tomorrow....and we don't even get that day of reveiw she promised us. That was supposed to be today....
>.<
Blarg.
And, guess what? On the school website, she just posted a little invention she calls "The Calendar Project". 31 super hard math problems. No idea when it's due (better not be for quite some time...), but just looking at it is making me extremly nervous, as I can't understand the vast majority.
As an example:
A circle is circumscribed about an equilateral triangle, and another circle is inscribed in the triangle. What is the ratio of the area of the larger circle to the area of the smaller circle?
Nother example:
A dodecahedron has twelve faces, all of which are regular pentagons. Three edges meet at each vertex of the dodecahedron. An interior diagonal is a segment connecting two vertices such that the segment is not an edge or along a face of the dodecahedron. How many interior diagonals does a regular dodecahedron have?
There are harder ones, but they have pictures and I'm too lazy to copy.
...just kill me now....
May the Triforce be with you.

Hi! I think most US schools actually give a month off for the holidays (well, at least most colleges do). Mine doesn't cause they do three semesters a year instead of two and, with three 15 week semesters, that doesn't leave a whole lot of time for breaks.

JIBUN WO! What's good? What's really good? Well last night I finally got around to beating FF6. (It wasn't hard or anything, I was just really lazy) Now if only my other FF games would work, I'd be happy.

Heso! A month for break? Yeah, right! I've never gotten more than two weeks... even when I went to private school. And I have school today with a half day tomorrow, too. Except we're not going to get any snow. It's freezing today... but it's supposed to get up to 50 degrees Farenheight tomorrow and stay that way until next year. And then on Christmas it's going to rain.
A Wet Christmas.
Just what I've always wanted.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Yeah, I had school today and I have a half-day tomorrow, which will probably be spent doing nothing
I think I'll probably be watching Elf in all my classes, seeing as that's the only movie each teacher has asked us about. Don't get me wrong, I love that movie, but how many times can you hear in a day "Buddy the Elf, what's your favorite color?" before it gets old? But, not that I'm complaining. Watching movies is a lot better than work.
I think I'm gonna wear a Santa hat, too, just for the heck of it.

That's exactly what I want! One of the advantages to moving out west for my family was that there wouldn't be intense amounts of snow, like there seems to always be in southern Ontario. But no, it was snowing for almost two days straight, and I think it finally stopped. My mom's car can't even get onto the road!Silver wrote:It's freezing today... but it's supposed to get up to 50 degrees Farenheight tomorrow and stay that way until next year. New world record for Canada! A new place in history!
Everywhere in Canada is going to have a white Christmas this year! Everywhere!
-EDIT-
Cheezy, I stuck a ruler in the snow yesterday... And now it's sorta gone missing in action.

Did anyone else notice that Josiah's post count is 13377?
Kinda lame of me, I know. But I just thought it was funny.

Heso! Nab... that was... the highest form of sarcasm possible on the Internet. The last thing I want is a Wet Chrsitmas. I want snow, dang it! I'm Yuki, so I should get snow! Then again, this year I'm Makoto... but in the video we use as reference, I learn the part of Haruka... Well, the truth is, Canada's far away, but moving up there is really tempting if it means I get my snow >:(
...That was terrible...
And Siranae, I always notice that kind of thing, too XD Not just about people's post counts, but the number of replies in threads. I believe at one point I claimed a thread's 1337 post...

Yeah I know you were being sarcastic, I'm just used to literally being snowed into my house, and I'm not looking forward to it again...Silver wrote:Heso! Nab... that was... the highest form of sarcasm possible on the Internet.

Heso! I'm posting from Digital Forensics class... I wish it was Christmas Eve. But no... I'm stuck here with the creepy obnoxious kids. At least it's a half day so it's only for twenty minutes, anyway.
