PETA bashes... Cooking Mama?

Post by Cheezdude »

PETA works on some levels. I think it's good to be against animal cruelty, furs and experimental testing, but you can not take a kid's video game and turn it into a gory representation of Thanksgiving dinner. How many kids will stumble along this while looking up Cooking Mama? It's horrible. PETA supporters can be vegans, but they have to realize that pushing their view's onto others doesn't work! And the comic books... 'Mommy kills animals?' >,>#

...err, I'm finding it hard to write this, so I'll stop here. In closing, I'm pretty annoyed with PETA right now.

Zoras once said something hilarious about what PETA stands and here it is:
People
Eat
Tasty
Animals.
Yes, He actually said that. But yeah, forcing views=bad mojo.
This is my RP Forum, Tales of Symphonia Adventures, or ToSA for short. Please take a look?

Yeah...I love animals just as much as the next person, but when I hear about people saying that eating animals is wrong and evil, it really bugs me. Humans eating other animals is completely natural, and other animals eat each other time and time again each and every single day. I think PETA's only going to make more enemies than friends if they keep this up.

Nuh-uh. It's People for the Eating of Tasty Animals, Zoras.
I can't think of a single reason that can't be disproven that PETA has made. Other than the KFC one.
Although local farms treat their animals very well.
Eating animals is natural. Next thing you know, they're going to ban animals from eating other animals, and the whole ecosystem is going to die. It's a part of life, and we're part of nature, no one thinks that's true anymore, but we are as animal as the animals. Some of the people I know are even more so than animals.
Hmm... This signature just got really short...

Bah. This is so stupid. Animals eating other animals is part of life as we know it.
Next thing you know, they'll be arresting lions for eating zebras, or something inane like that.
I perfectly respect vegetarians, I just hate it when they try to impose it on everyone else and make people feel bad for eating meat. It's what we're naturally born to eat! That's what the pointy teeth are for.

Yeah, humans are omnivores. Eating meat is something we can do because of how are bodies work. The digestive system is built specifically to break apart fats, proteins, and other parts of food at different times (The fluids in your stomach don't break down the same things as the fluids in your small intestines, or your spit), and meat is one of those foods.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals

Supposedly they just want to ensure that animals aren't horribly mistreated. However, they've essentially gotten to the point where they often act like animals are more important than humans. They frequently compaign against people eating meat and use of animals in science. The whole Cooking Mama thing just proves that a lot of PETA members have absolutely no life. I mean, attacking a perfectly innocent cooking game because they don't think it has enough vegetarian recipes? Come on...

Yes. That's exactly the point I wanted to make. My best friend is a vegetarian, but he doesn't rub it in our faces that we're eating animals - he's fine with it. Some people decided that it would be fun to throw pieces of meat at him the other day, which made me pretty sad.

I found this on another forum. It surprises me how low PETA will go in order to get their point across. Badly, mind you.

Humans are natural omnivores. Nobody can change that.

This reminds me of an episode of Futurama in which some hippies taught a very unhealthy-looking lion to eat tofu. T'was quite funny.

I'm actually kindda like Gar here. I had no idea what PETA was until now and I find the whole thing ridicules.

I have no problem with Vegetarians or Vegans, if that's how they want to live that's fine with me. It's their choice, as long as they don't go around trying to get me to become one.
I'm also against animal cruelty, but from what I know of the farmers here they all treat their animals nicely, as in they don't just walk up to their cow when its their time to die and hack at them with an axe. Farmers actually raise the animals and sell them to someone else to kill and cut up.

Also there is a big difference between Vegetarians and Vegans.
Vegetarians wont eat meat or seafood, but they will eat animal-bi products such as milk, butter, and eggs, although what they eat will depend on the person. For example some will eat egg's while other don't.
Vegans on the other hand will not eat and meat, seafood or animal-bi product. (Which really is not good for your health, the amount of pills and vegi juice they have to take and drink to get the right amount of vitamins is just crazy.)

Kindda reminds me of another version or Sissor's, Paper, Rock. Where they were replaced with Grass, Zebra, Lion. Lion eats Zebra, Zebra eats Grass, and Grass gives Lion indigestion.
Redback, Funnel-Web, Blue-ringed octopus
Taipan, Tigersnake and a Box jellyfish
Stonefish and the poison thing that lives in a shell
That spikes you when you pick it up

My family was actually vegetarian when I was little and my parents were vegans for a while too. The reason we're not anymore, after years and years of trying all the variations of those diets, my dad (who is a rather famous doctor in his field) finally concluded that it's just not healthy to live that way. You body needs more than what it can get in fruits, veggies, and grain in order to stay in top condition.

Yeah, I used to live beside a farm and that's how they did it too.

My mom and sister are vegetarians at the moment. It's sort of weird, they'll go vegetarian for a year or two, get out of it for a few years, and it'll all start over again. Right now, my dad is trying to bring them out of it and failing miserably as usual.
