Hey.
Two hockey games today. Bleh. Hate that. It's kinda really obnoxious, cuz the equptment doesn't have enough time to dry out between the two games. It's all gross and cold and stuff. Eeewwwwwww...

Strangely, I never really use Rocky, but in Smash Bros. I use that move all the time.Cheezdude wrote:Rocky = Win. Hi! I took a couple people I know to Bookman's (a huge used book, movie, music, game) store today. Really glad I did too. Bookman's took a ton of the stuff I brought in to sell (stuff that I was fairly sure they weren't going to take, too) and I got $95 worth of store credit! Plus they had a ton of great stuff available today. And last night, I got the 25 The World Ends With You badges I ordered off ebay, which look totally awesome on my backpack. So I'm having a pretty awesome day so far.

Heso! Really, Josiah? Bookman? Did you see any pandas while you were there?
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hey.
One hockey game down, one more to go. We won, if anyone cares. Now I'm heading off within the next hour for our next game. Bleh...

Haha that's exactly what I was thinking! Good to hear you had a good day Josiah, what do the pins look like?Silver wrote:Heso! Really, Josiah? Bookman? Did you see any pandas while you were there?

Hi! The pins are about an inch in diameter and look just like my favorite pins from The World Ends With You. Maybe I'll post a picture sometime, but not right now. Today is my 'get as much homework done as possible so I don't have to do it over Thanksgiving break' day. I've got no idea how long as that homework is going to take. If I'm really lucky I could possibly finish by mid afternoon (at which point I'll probably need to work on some non homework stuff). More likely, I'll be working most of the day.

Hello from the library.
I only have today and tomorrow for school this week. Every other day is off for me!
Also, had to check in, I guess 50 books from the drop box today. I needed a cart to get them all in.

Heso from "Digital Forensics" class.
I have a half day on Wednesday, then Thursday and Friday off... which means I only have to fight for a table in lunch one more day, because we don't get lunch on half days.
Yeah. Table got stolen by these obnoxious delinquents. So we found a different one, and then the people that sit there got all up in arms... it was pretty funny, actually. They told the security guard and he's just like, "There aren't assigned seats. STFU n00b." ...Ok, not in those exact words. But that's what he meant. We won the battle, anyway, but the war is not over...

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Ohayou from anthropology lecture.
Hey, everyone else was posting from somewhere else.
And okay, it's not exactly an anthropology class, but it's close. Required course for everyone in my college. Pretty fun, since we get to learn about the ancient Greeks and Aztecs and Hopi and Nyoro and BaMbuti...
Ahem. Back in high school I never had to fight for lunch spots 'cause I only ate lunch with two or three groups of people. One group sat exclusively in front of the library, and we often shifted position depending on whether or not we wanted to be sitting in the sun. Another group sat in front of the school, and we also moved around to sit either in the shade or the sun, depending on the weather. The last group had a huge row of tables all to themselves, but they usually only took up the first two. So there never was much struggle over seating. I guess it helped that we weren't too fussy about whether we got a table or just a nice spot on the floor. Or that the seniors got their own special "senior square" (which I only stepped into about five times all last year). Or that the juniors, sophomores, and freshmen all got their designated "trees."
...Yeah, I think everyone at my high school just picked a spot and stuck to it, and all the incoming people had to find their own niche or fill in the areas vacated by older students/graduates.

Hey.
Ug. I hate fighting for tables. Last year, everything was organized. Though seats weren't assigned, they might as well have been. Everyone went to the same tables for the most part. Now, getting a table isn't a certainty. Luckily, every other day I get to eat in the band room. Always a table there. Yaay.
And, of three hockey games this weekend, we won all three! One of which was a tournament game. YAAAY.
Yeah, me too. Monday and Tuesday, then half day Wednesday. We also have a pep rally Wednesday, where the marching band is playing. Not to mention the football game on Thurday, and the parade and banqet on Sunday....Silver wrote:I have a half day on Wednesday, then Thursday and Friday off... which means I only have to fight for a table in lunch one more day, because we don't get lunch on half days.
