Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!

Cha!
When i was a kid it snowed every winter without fail, then it didn't snow EVER without fail, now it snows when it feels like it, even in the middle of summer when we are laying a lawn. The weather forcaster say it might snow this weekend, I hope it does.

HOW DO YOU LIVE?!?
I looooove snow! Winter is my favorite season! Man, I can just run around in the snow and fall over and be extremly happy. I swear, my best ideas come when I'm just outside in the snow. I've written TONS of poems on winter (very few of which are good, and I lost most of them).
I know I'm probably getting too old for it, but I still love going in the backyard and sledding down the hill. Last year we brought our ski poles and had an epic war (skipoles were swords, sleds were shields). We'd fight, and the loser was sent tumbling down the hill. This lead to sneak attacks, and awesome forts.
Wow.....I can't believe some people have to go their lives without snow. That's just a crazy concept for me.
It snows every winter here, and somethimes in the fall. Hasn't snowed yet, though.
Man...I feel so bad for you guys! There are some people up here who detest the snow, but I love it soo much. Skiing is fun (though I'm rather suckish at it), as is cross coutnry skiing and outdoor ice skating is a blast! And the snowball fights....and I'm sorry if I'm making you guys jealous....but it's just such a difficult concept for me that some people have to go without snow.
May the Triforce be with you.

Yo! Up here in Canada it snows all the time in the Winter! In fact, there's so much snow that it sucks! We got like a foot just before Halloween (although I was in Disneyworld at the time, so I'll have to take my Dad's word for it), and last year, if you remember, was the second snowiest year since they started keeping track in the 50's! The snowbanks were eight ****ing feet tall! Our street was reduced to a single lane! And I had to shovel every other day! And it was the worst winter ever!!! *Considers moving to Florida.*

Heso! Dang. We don't get a lot of snow in New Jersey, but it does snow... and when it does, even a little, the entire state seems to shut down because we don't prepare for it very well. Actually... it's snowing right now! Which is really weird. I don't know if it's ever snowed in November before - in years past we've been lucky to get snow in late December, and I can't remember the last time we had a White Christmas.
It's snowing outside, and I'm wearing shorts... When, exactly, did I go insane? But I suppose I'm going to be trapped in this school until the snow stops anyway...
But seriously, eight feet of snow could never be a bad thing. Silver <3 Snow~ Ore wa SOS-dan no Yuki dakara. And that was a Japanese pun.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hi!
It's been snowing here. Alot. So I tobogganed, which is always fun.

Hi! When I lived in the mountains, we got a ton of snow (several feet at a time wasn't uncommon). Where my parents live now, we get at most a few inches at a time, but we're close to the mountains so it's pretty easy to drive to someplace with a ton of snow. Of course, I'm in Phoenix right now where it never gets cold enough to snow, but I'll be back in CO over winter break.
Question for Astral and/or Kaida, does it snow anywhere in Australia?
Getting off the topic of snow, I'm running late, I have a short paper to write, and some errands that need to be done so I gotta run. Will be back sometime tonight (possibly rather late).

Hey.
It's supposed to snow tomorrow :D.
I'm seeing A Chorus Line tonight. It's supposed to be really good, at least according to my freinds in the pit and in the cast.

Hi.
Well, I went ahead and requested a repair from Microsoft. Thankfully, since the console was purchased before 2007, the replacement is free. However, until the box comes, I now have a very large paperweight sitting in my room.

Jeeze, Memphis only gets snow at least once a year. And it's not even that, just sleet and freezing rain, which, by the way, is not crystilized like snow. There is a difference. When I lived in North Carolina, there wasn't that much snow, but when it did snow, there was a lot(read: enough to cancel school). And when I lived in Japan, there was a LOT of snow. I don't exactly remember where in Japan, but there was a lot.

I'm used to it seeing a very constant and thick layer of snow on the ground between October/November up until around March, excluding that very weird week of "indian summer." I can't really comprehend having a winter without huge amounts of snow

Hi.
I live in Florida. You should be able to figure out how much snow we get.

I think I've answered this before, but its probably lost in lots of posts by now so...Josiah wrote:Question for Astral and/or Kaida, does it snow anywhere in Australia?
Yes I does snow, pretty much every year in the mountains (Like the Snowy Mountains and Falls Creek [where I went skiing earlier this year]). I does snow in other places too, but weather it does depends on the weather in that particular area. It pretty much only snows in the southern states and is mostly confined to the South-East (New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania) while little snow falls in the South- West (South Australia and [Southern]Western Australia).
And I only saw snow for the first time when I went on my holiday to Victoria earlier this year.

We're fine with it, if we want to see snow we go on a random holiday south.Saber Knight wrote:You poor, poor deprived people! Snow is my liiife.

And we Love our hot summer's with random Thunder/Lightning storms and for some reason hail.
And while I love lightning shows and rain the "Your not wet enough, so we're going to drop bucket loads of water on you and flood the place where you work in a foot of water!" thing is kind of not-so-great.
In case you couldn't tell we just had a couple of really heavy thunder storms, Which actually flooded to place where I work in a foot of water. Two Nights in a Row!
So short term- I get Saturday off, Yay! Three day weekend. The Club will be closed for about a week, luckily for me, my pay is covered by the insurance, along with the rest of the house staff. But now i have to try and fill 40 hours of doing something, yes we need to throw out all the stock (food, alcohol, etc.) because the rain water mixed with the surage water and ew. It didn't actually get into the fridges but we still need to replace it all anyway, not only that but I have to clean them out and clean the lower half of the kitchen, and guess where we keep all our plates! Even so that will only take a couple days to do.
In the Long term- All the carpets getting replaced, along with the stage and the seats in the lap room and while were closed the dancers will be flooding the streets with advertising for the start of next year since we're closed for two weeks over Christmas. and for lo0ng term it will be good for the business, its just short term that we need to get through.
And wow, that was longer then I thought...

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
I don't really like the cold anyway... so why would I be so deprived by not seeing snow.. snow is cold. cold is not cool.
Aaaanyway.. I'm glad where I am isn't getting those storms. Where my grandma is did though, but she's fine^^
We did get some rain, and lightning which meant I couldn't go on the computer which was annoying.. It was mainly just really humid though.
*sigh* I need a new job... one that gives me enough money for me to actually be able to get somewhere... I can't wait till I get to Uni.. unfortunately I'm prolly gonna have to wait about 350 years to get there! Why does the universe hate me?
