Round 3: Super Happy Fun Fun Land

[Astral Omega]

Cassi decided that 5 feet wasn't all that high and carefully layed down, hanging herself off the edge to the full extent of her arms and dropped easily onto the ground.

She got her gun ready and looked around from this new angle.

[Kaida]

Kaida walked around the pillar in the center of the room a few times looking down the paths before deciding to go down the east one.

[Josiah]

MICKEY

Zack and his friend appeared too interested in his prize to hear her. (If you leave now, you'll end up back outside in the swamp. There's some stores and other attractions nearby you can look at, you can head back towards the entrace of The Wonderful World of Slime, or you can head deeper into the swamp.)


CASSI

Cassi safely made it to the ground...feeling rather foolish when she realized that she was taller than five feet and the whole hanging thing had been unneccessary. Fortunately, only a couple of her own team mates, who had rounded the corner as she was lowering herself down, saw her. They did give her rather odd looks though. The view from the ground wasn't really any different than the view from the ledge.


KAIDA

Kaida passed some other members of her team, who were heading the other way, and emerged from a hole concealed at the base of a pillar. Peeking around the pillar, she saw lots of players of both colors. It appeared that she'd come out right by a large battle. No one seemed to have noticed her yet...

[Saber Knight]

Mickey shrugged. She gave one final, "bye", then headed out, with the intention of going deeper into the swamp.

[Kaida]

"Meep" Kaida said holding her gun as she peeked around the pillar, she looked around for a better hidyhole to play from and hopefully get some clues.

((gah! I didn't even think about how big 5 ft is... I was imagining 5 METERS! HAHA! *feels like an idiot>.<*))

Cassi grinned at the teammates and headed towards the corner they had coem from, carefully checking around the corner, gun raied, like a TV soldier before proceeding.

[Josiah]

MICKEY

Mickey moved deeper into the swamp, which got progressively darker and spookier as she went. She spotted the occasional shop along the way but there wasn't much until she reached a dank hollow at the far end. Various shops and attractions lined the area, all with spooky sounding names such as Vlad's House of Shrunken Heads and Ghoulish Encounters.


KAIDA

The area she was on was pretty flat and, aside from the pillar, provided little cover. As the battle continued, "dead" players made their way off the plateau (West for most of the green players, East for most of the red), presumable to head to recharge stations. But more players continued to join in the fray, keeping the battle relatively even. Kaida figured that she'd probably be spotted pretty quickly if she headed to the North, East, or West, and get caught up in the fighting. Though, if she stayed behind the pillar, she might be able to sneak off to the South and slip off the plateau there.


CASSI

There didn't appear to by any opposing players in the area, at least at the moment. She was in a square of sorts, surrounded by a collection of shops, restaurants, and a couple of structures that looked like they might be rides. There were paths leading off to the Northwest and Southeast.

[Saber Knight]

"Okay, now this is just getting creepy." Mickey mumbled to herself as she trudged along. "I...guess it wouldn't hurt to turn back...but then again I should probably keep exploring." Mickey glanced around nervously. Everything was just downright spooky here. "Aw man..." she mumbled to herself as she decided to tough it out and go into the store called "Ghoulish Encounters."

[Kaida]

As much as Kaida wanted to join in with the frey she knew that she had to find some clues, she had a much bigger games to play in. And she would get the chance to take out some players later.
"South it is!." She said quietly to herself as she slipped off the plateau.

[Astral Omega]

Cassi shrugged and decided to go with the time-tested theory of checking the shops for clues...

[Josiah]

MICKEY

Upon entering the creepy building, Mickey realized that Ghoulish Encounters was a ride, not a store. The line looked pretty short.



KAIDA

Kaida managed to drop off the edge of the plateau without being seen. After scraming down the side of the hill, she found herself facing a large building. The sign read, "The Magic of Lasers. Next Show in 5 Minutes." As she watched, several colorless people (as in, not on the green or red teams) hurried inside.



CASSI

The nearest shop was Glowy Things Limited. The entrace was extremely dark but, as she stumbled forward, she entered the shop proper, which was illuminated solely by a massive selection of glowing things of all sorts.

[Kaida]

"'The Magic of Lasers'?" Kaida said as she looked at the building. "Eee that is like the awesomeness of both Magic and Laser's put togeather!" She exclaimed. "I must see!" Kaida squeeled as she hurried inside.

[Saber Knight]

Mickey shrugged, and got in line.

[Josiah]

KAIDA

Kaida headed inside the building and followed a group of people through a dark foyer and into a theater like room where she was herded into a seat between a young man who looked like he'd done the little clothes shopping he needed at that underwear store from earlier and a creature that looked something like a giant cockroach.

"The show will begin in three minutes." a voice could be heard above the murming of the audience. "We here at Super Happy Fun Fun Land would like to remind you that this theater is a no battle zone so all laser guns will be deactivated until you leave the building."



MICKEY

Mickey got in line. Before long she found herself facing a large thick black curten. All the people ahead of her has passed through it so she followed. Stepping through, she was suddenly hit by a chill breeze. Looking around, she found herself in the midst of a decaying graveyard on a moonless night. The curtain had vanished. A pumpkin headed creature suddenly appeared before her and bowed.

Cassi looked around in wonder... She LOVED glowy things^^

She began to browse the merchandise.
