Well, Halloween is over, she I’ve changed my avatar to Hinata. Might change back to the old blushing one at some point, but I like the colours on this one.

Finally got myself an Xbox-360. 60GB hard drive, £170. Been playing Fable 2, I was up until 2am. Good I’m regretting that now.

Ehh it's the essay about the story with the natives turning to stone and blue alien coyotes I posted about before. I have the inspiration now (due dates tend to do that ) but I can't find secondary sources, so I'm in trouble.

Hi! I've got still more Japanese homework to do today, and a bunch of really boring reading assignment too. Yay...

And elections aren't over yet. Voting is tomorrow. They'll announce a "winner" tomorrow night and then they'll spend the next week or so (or possibly months if this ends up like the 2000 election) counting and recounting the votes to make sure they were right the first time.

Don't they count and verify the votes before they announce a winner? it's kind of important they don't screw it up right, it's only the most IMPORTANT job in the world, they shouldn't even announce a name till it's checked twice.

Also, I hope america pick a good president. Don't forget it effects everyone else as well.

Obama won in our school election. He got 66% of the votes, according to the announcement.
I'm just happy there's no school tomorrow. :D
Now that October is over, probably going to change my avatar as well. Not sure what to theme mine on this month, though. Thanksgiving, maybe?

Speaking of which, I've decided to do a little election poll. Like it says in bold 200 font, only U.S. citizens. You can post just don't vote in the poll. It ends on the 5th, so vote vote vote(if you live in the U.S.)! Also, the subdivision I live in is predominantly pro-McCain.

Also, if you haven't heard already, SNL is doing an election compilation tonight. I'm recording it incase I miss anything.

Hi! Well, technically they count all the votes first...but some TV stations and newspapers like to jump the gun and announce a winner once they're fairly sure who won. Normally all the others promptly follow suit and just about everyone believes them. Said practice has led to a few very embarressing moments in the past when the guy they announced as the winner actually lost. Then, there's always the chance that whoever loses will call for a recount (in 2000 the Democrats had the votes recounted like 10 times, and they still lost), which would slow things down more. The way I think things are going to turn out...
If the Democrats lose: They'll call for a zillion recounts and whine about how everyone in the country except them is racist.
If the Republicans lose: They'll probably bow out gracefully... Though, with all the reports of voter fraud (such as the whole Acorn incident), calling for a recount might be a good idea.
Now those are just guesses but, given past experience, seem pretty likely.
