We had hat day today and I saw A 6th grader, who was Asian, wear a Chinese hat from the Dynasty era. It had a long thin pony tail connected to the hat, the same color as his own hair, Win. Best hat ever.

I hate hair cuts...a lot. Sitting there for 30 or so minutes is so boring, and I'm always fine with my hair beforehand. All I ask for is a trim, but the hair dresser always goes all spazzy. She also straightened my hair, which I didn't ask for. It should fix itself by tomorrow though.

It's called "I'm getting Murdered in the Morning," chosen almost exclusively for the reference to My Fair Lady... but it's a pretty fun time. Someone's murdered during the garter toss at Brenda and Eddie's wedding. I... understand that's a reference to some song I've never heard. Me and my Japanese music... B-but anyway, it's big on audience interaction stuff. Entire scenes happen in the house... Not to mention there's an audeince question and answer section. We even have them vote on who the killer is, Mafia-style! ...And then prove them completely wrong. So there really isn't any point to it, outside of making them feel like they're involved...

Man, I sure picked out a good costume today. More about character day. This week is homecomming week at my school, so each day we dress up. Monday was decade day, where we dress up as our favorite decade. I was a 50's greaser(ie. Grease, West Side Story, etc). Yesterday was Geek Squad day, when we let our inner geek run rampant. I hiked my pants up way high(like, past my belly button), I wore crew length socks that wern't folded down, and put tape on my glasses. The sad thing is that I didn't have to make much changes in my wardrobe. Today, character day, we were to dress up as our favorite Nick, Cartoon Network, or Disney character. Now, you might say that Mario doesn't count, but he does. The Super Mario Brothers Super Show used to be on Cartoon Network, and the Super Mario Bros. live action movie aired on the Disney Channel a few years back. Tomorrow is class distinction day. Freshmen are first class, which I'm guessing is formal wear; sophomores are super heroes; juniors are hollywood; and as always, seniors are royalty. Since I'm a junior, I have to dress up all hollywood-esk, but I don't have anything that could do that for me. So, I'm going to dress up as someone from the paparattzi who lost his camera. Friday is spirit day, where you are all decked out in blue and white. Paint your face, paint your hair, whatever, as long as it's the school colors. I won't be able to do that, since I have to march at the football game and I don't want the uniform to get dirty, especialy since we have another contest. This time it's from 3:00 till 11:30.

If you think that there is no point in spirit week, then you have no spirit.

Ooh, we had spirit weeks back in middle school. Not sure if we have them in high school.
See, for us, different sports teams (and some teams that aren't sports) have their own spirit days. Marching band has already had pirate day and cape day. There isn't a day in school where you do't find someone dresssing odd due to a spirit day. There's been doctors, superheroes, cowboys, etc.

Edit: And wanna learn what's depressing? Halloween is on a Friday! *sob* read: I'll have to be at Marching Band. No candy for me....

So now I'm gonna walk into lunch tomorrow, and after Itsuki finishes talking about his progress in Idol Master and Tales of Whatever, we're gonna get into Code Geass and how amazing Orange and Clovis are like we do every day. Y'see, like good little Otakus, we've been watching the dub on Adult Swim. And now instead of saying "SPOILER - Britannia is secretly Pixie Dust!" I'm going to say, "SPOILER - Lelouch dies! And so does Atma!" ...And then hopefully it will be time for the part where KT-sama comes in late from AP Bio and we start talking about Yu-Gi-Oh, Kingdom Hearts, and Pokemon. And hopefully that will remind me that my life doesn't suck.

Heso! So... I'm back from the Pennsylvania and the grandparents' house. It was fun times. Missed two days of school, missed two days of school. Really glad I only missed Trig review in math class. I get Trig. Silver <3 the Trigonometry. What else, what else... Leon! LEON was in MILTON for the RE-CREATION taping. It was like Christmas, and by that I mean Hegins Day, all over again.

And I memorized like all my lines for the play! I counted. I have 89 of them, outside the last three pages. I don't even have the last three pages yet... it's a murder mystery, and the director doesn't want us blabbing about who the killer is so we don't get to find out until the week before the show. Well, that's a lie. The rest of the cast doesn't get to find out until a week before the show. She already told me - 'cause I'm the detective and I aught to know this sort of thing - and the victim, because, well... dead men tell no tales. ...But anyway. Eighty-nine lines. Which is more than anyone else. It's pretty amazing.

Seriously, I thought they did. I had the TV on and everything... I even watched [adult swim] twice! I guess i may not have been paying too much attention. Sorry Silver.
