Unless Cheez really wants out, I'll have to go with terra, since her internet access is extremely limited right now.

Well, there you have it. Terra... has been... FIRED! Such a shame, to make it this far and then suffer from troublesome Internet access... Oh well. On to the next round!
Miss (?!) IPA Apprentice
I wasn't kidding about this one, either. You're going to compete in a Miss America-styled competition. Except that... this is the Interweb, so I... can't really... emulate the beauty contest aspect. We're gonna skip that, because wearing swimsuits doesn't have any relevance to IPA anyway. I don't even own one, and I'm doing just fine, so uh...
Anyway. We're just gonna go for the talent contest bit and the... current event questions for you to inevitably mess up. Badly. But before that, you guys need to pick what states you're representing! And by 'State' I mean 'Anything that isn't a state'. I don't care if you want to be Miss Dark Forest, Miss Sphebra, Miss Steve, or Miss I-Like-To-Set-Things-On-Fire, just... pick something that isn't a state. Like South Carolina. Or you'll be disqualified. Once you've all picked your title which I will use for the rest of your life especially if you become my Apprentice, we'll get started on the stuff that actually matters.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Does that mean we can't represent a state of matter? :P
I was looking forward to being Miss Plasma. ^_^
Um....ah...I can't think of something at the moment....I'll be back in a few minutes...hopefully.
Edit: I'll go with Miss Hyrule.

Miss Burrito, reporting for business!
Re: IPA Apprentice: Reality TV on the Internet! (Season 2?)
Remember my comedy routine where I said I would drop out if you were serious about the Miss IPA thing because I don't to drag? Well, because you're skipping the swimsuit, formal wear, and the other dress things, I'm not dropping out because I don't have to do drag.
I'll be Miss B Flat.

Re: IPA Apprentice: Reality TV on the Internet! (Season 2?)
Ok, the schedule for this competition's going to be a little weird. We're going to do the question part first so you guys have time to think about what talents you really have... but we're going to do it one at a time. Since there are only four of you, it won't take all that long. I'll post a question for each little Miss and give you a few days to respond as accurately and intellectually as you can.
During that time, start thinking about what talent of yours you can show off. I'm not putting any limits on that - if you can spin plates, then upload a video of yourself doing so to youtube, well, great - so as to encourage creativity... but ideally this'll be typical internet stuff. You know, spriting, fanart, fancomics, fanfiction... paper fans... the more relevant to IPA the better. Since, you know, this is IPA apprentice and all. Yeah, spriting? Spriting is a great talent to have. Just... for the record. Even if spriting's not your talent, you might want to practice with that a bit. Because it may or may not be the theme of the second-to-last challenge.
Anyway! We'll get started on the interrogations tomorrow, starting with the contestant who's earned the most points so far this round... Miss Burrito. Because 'Miss Burrito' is so much fun to say I had to give Cheesey extra points for it. Like, seriously? I don't think I can ever call him 'Cheesey' again. It's all about the 'Miss Burrito'.

This double post brought to you by 1337-9. This is my Leety ninth post! Hooray~
So, first question. This is for Miss Burrito.
Miss IPA Apprentice has a lot of power within the IPA community. Why do you think you deserve this position? If elected, what would your goals for the future be? What would you try to change about this absurd little Internet game?

Re: IPA Apprentice: Reality TV on the Internet! (Season 2?)
I deserve this position because... I've... gotten Marley eliminated! Yeah! In the future, I would always roll for IC. ALWAYS. And I would change how long a member could be away without notice before they get pounded. Like King of Katamari. He would be pounded, because all those U.S. Americans in The Iraq don't have enough IPAs in the pound.
Thank You. *bows*

A solid response from Miss Burrito! Will the next contestant be able to top that? It's doubtful...
So, Miss B Flat:
Some people have accused Silver of being "arrogant" for, at one point, referring to himself as "Awesome Person Silver". Do you agree with these claims or think Silver is the most wonderfully humble person you've ever met, hint hint? What could you, as Miss IPA Apprentice, do to resolve this issue?

Re: IPA Apprentice: Reality TV on the Internet! (Season 2?)
I say that Silver pretty much has a right to be arrogant once in a while! Running IPA and being a super mod, all while dealing with real life is a tough challenge, and he makes it look easy! Needless to say, Silver is the most awesome awesome person in the history of awesome. Even with all that awesome, he still manages to keep his head from inflating like the dollar bill! And even if his humbleness increases his awesomness, he doesn't need to be humble, because he is just plain awesome. As Miss IPA apprentice, I will make Awesome Person Silver's awesomness known to everyone, not just on this forum. In fact, I might start a petition for Silver to be the Admin of this forum! His awesomeness far exceeds Josiah's! And if any of you think I'm sucking up to Silver, I'm not. I'm telling the truth, plain and simple.

...And an even more solid response from Miss B Flat! I don't think I've laughed so much since... I don't know, I think that may even be on a Sogeking's theme song level. You made a math mistake towards the end, though. You see, according to the Law of Constant Awesome, Josiah > Silver > Universe. And I think Shauni comes before me according to that Law, too... I'm not really sure. But it's the natural order either way and I don't plan to fight it.
Next question... Miss Hyrule.
The most daunting task currently facing the future Miss IPA Apprentice is the refurbishing of the IPAdex. What are your thoughts on this project? What kind of skills do you think are necessary for such an undertaking? Are you prepared to step up to the challenge?

Re: IPA Apprentice: Reality TV on the Internet! (Season 2?)
I think it's the perfect task! I mean, I haven't found anything in a while that I've been totally devoted to with complete and total nerdness, other than video games. And this is much more important! I mean, fixing up up the IPA dex helps so many people. I feel it is an extremly important task.
Such an undertaking takes incredible devotion, and good computer skills. Knowledge of such shortcuts as alt+tab are vital skills. Not to mention the incredible nerd-ness it takes to stay up all night working on this important task. I feel that I would be able to step up to such a task. I can devote myself to something, and who needs sleep anyways?
